The Texas McCombs Full-Time MBA uses a three-round rolling process for Fall 2027 entry. GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test), GRE (Graduate Record Examination), or the Executive Assessment are accepted, and McCombs is test-optional for candidates with 6+ years of quantitative work experience who apply for a waiver upfront.

McCombs MBA interviews are by invitation only and take place after each application round closes. Shortlisted candidates attend a 30-minute virtual or in-person interview. Indian applicants can request a virtual slot without penalty.

The full-time MBA typically requires 3–5 years of work experience, while the Working Professional MBA requires 5+ years and the Executive MBA 8+ years with senior management experience. The application fee is USD 200 (INR 19,100) per round.

University of Texas at Austin PhD Admissions

UT Austin funds most PhD admits through full tuition remission and a 9-month teaching or research assistantship. For Fall 2027 entry, deadlines generally fall between 1 and 15 December 2026, depending on the department.
