Overview:
I chose this initially for the nursing program but changed my mind. I knew this college was a great school in general, especially well-known for engineering. I decided to stick to the psychology program since it was most interesting to me. I definitely think that the campus is very diverse and that there are a lot of opportunities for students to really find what they are in college for. There are many avenues that students can connect with other students on and several resources that are typically free of charge.

I chose this program for the engineering ranking and the fact that Purdue is a well known name. My overall experience has been very good academically. purdue is a bit boring and not a party school since many students here are engineering students. The quality of education is extremely good though.

I have really enjoyed campus and the people in here. There's a lot of student but there's enough space for everyone. My department is amazing, renovated and well equipped.
Fees:
It's usually 10,000 dollars per year

- The best thing about Purdue is the plethora of opportunities it offers. If you are good at what you do, you will be in-demand for TA/RA or even student engineer positions in the University that pay pretty well. I held three jobs during my time here. Yes, it was hectic, but I was able to recover a good chunk of my expenses.
- Dislikes:
- Purdue is known for its high-quality education in the STEM fields. However, only a handful of professors are good teachers, and I am sure my peers would agree to this. Also, the professors don't take cheating in exams and assignments seriously. This impacts students who are genuine and work hard.
Overview:
Overall it was an eye-opening experience. Yes, I learnt a lot academically, but I what is more important is I learnt how to take care of myself. At the end of the day, you are on your own. The university gives you all the ingredients you would need to succeed - research opportunities, on-campus jobs, networking events etc. How you use those ingredients is up to you. It has been a hectic one-year, but I wouldn't regret it. There are tons of takeaways.
Fees:
1. The tuition fee was very affordable, and I received a pretty decent amount of scholarship. 2. The program had a good track record. All students (especially international) founds jobs before, or soon after graduating. Excluding scholarships and assistantships, the fee is around USD 52000. MSBAIM is 36 credit program, and each credit costs around USD 1300.
Overview:
I initially chose Purdue University for a master's degree from the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics which is among the top graduate programs in the USA and provided ample exposure to chart my way into a Ph.D. program. There are a variety of research areas available, however, some research is restricted to US nationals only in the field of aerospace technology. This is also true for aerospace-related jobs in the private sector which also require US citizenship for security reasons. Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Science department at Purdue are among the fastest-growing departments in this field here. Admitted students are well supported through assistantships and fellowships. I chose to get a Ph.D. in Planetary Sciences as I am fascinated by the geologic processes on earth and other solar system bodies. Amazing research is currently happening about the moon, mars, mercury, icy moons, asteroids, and extrasolar planets. Purdue is situated in West Lafayette which is a university town and I like it that way.
Fees:
Approximately tuition fee is $16,000/- per semester for international student which is waived off if you secure a fellowship or an assistantship.
