Through classroom and practicum experiences, you are encouraged to embrace the ever-changing and evolving technological advancements that occur within the industry. You will build private and public partnerships through field trips, internships, networking with industry professionals and alumni during industry events and laboratory experiences.GCM students have a full range of high-quality printing machinery and technology, along with computer labs to offer a hands-on learning experience. Laboratory experiences will reinforce communication management, math, science, and technical concepts while challenging students’ problem-solving abilities. Printing labs are located in the Carruth Building.
From Concept to Delivery
Georgia Southern University is the only institution in the Southeast to offer dual degree majors in Graphic Communications Management and Graphic Design. You can major in one degree while minoring in the other for a full scope of the design and production process – making our graduates uniquely marketable.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of all the previous education in English
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5
- Submit scores of SAT or ACT exam
- Submit scores of English language proficiency
English Language Proficiency Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 69 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- SAT: minimum 480 in reading and writing
- ACT: minimum 17 in English or reading
