  • As of now, there's none. But I wanted to mention about the accommodation. It's pretty expensive over here as it's located in the midtown so your living costs are high.

Course Curriculum:

My course is rigorous and needs a lot of focus and hard work on weekly assignments and tests. If you are coming better be prepared to work hard.

Georgia Tech is the 2nd best public school in the US for Chemical Engineering. But this is not the only reason to choose Gatech, there were several factors and a lot of research behind it. I also got admitted to some of the best universities. I created a preference matrix that helped me to choose the best one and Gatech stood out as the the best out of that. My initial experience was tough because the course was rigorous and it was not easy to cop up with all the stuff at once after landing in this company. But now it's pretty good as I am used to and have a lot to learn.

  • Sometimes the courses can be very specific to the research area of the faculty amd moght not always meet the general job market requirements. In that case, one need to navigate throught the perfect course combinations.

Course Curriculum:

Research is excellent. The courses are not that great, mostly research oriented. Need to check the courses whih are actually floated.

Fees:

The tution is nearly $40k for the programs.

  • Dislikes:
  • It's very strict and tough, sometimes puts you through times where the only solution is hard work, no matter how intelligent you are. The professors are high profiles so you really need to be genius to catch their attention.

Course Curriculum:

The college had the most practical courses which had labs for all real world problems. You can easily earn good industry recognized cybersecurity certifications on the colleges courses

Fees:

Course Curriculum:

The course syllabus is updated and relevant and challenging we material. The labs are good research experience, but no industrial exposure.

$30,000 USD for out of state tuition. And dorm can be anywhere from $7,000-$10,000 per year.

Course Curriculum:

It's very relevant, they're research based courses, and we're allowed to pick any course we want. There aren't any compulsory courses.

Course Curriculum:

The course structure is good and we have total freedom to choose courses. It is up-to-date and I am learning about latest technology. Most of my coursework has been theoretical, so not a lot of industrial experience, but Professors that have taught me share their industrial experiences which helps a lot.

Fees:

USD 17000 per semester. Thus, $68000 for 4 semesters.

Course Curriculum:

Every course has a different flavor and hence different learning experience. Most of my courses were theoretical in nature and I really learnt a lot through assignments and discussions in classroom.

Fees:

Approx. 15,000$ per semester and usually it takes 3-4 semester in MS program and 10 semesters in PhD (although you most likely will get funding in yout PhD)

Course Curriculum:

It's a lot depending on the class I guess. I've always taken around 16 credits which is probably why I'm always working also ID has a lot of projects which require long hours in the studio. The thing I love about GT is that they use a lot of hands-on learning and cover a lot of different topics and educate you overall in their courses. We have a lot of videos and very few textbooks least for all the classes I've taken so far. Even like in coding- we had to code AmongUs for the last HW which was more fun than just writing lengthy codes for things we don't relate to or solving questions from a textbook.

Industrial Design is ranked number 1 at Georgia Tech. They have an amazing invention studio and faculty.
