  • Dislikes:
  • I dislike the quarter pattern in my university. It makes my studies hectic. I literally have exams every month!

I chose this university for the CO-OP opportunity, speciality in the Pharmaceutical industry. The university helped me to develop my resume, LinkedIn profile, etc.

  • Dislikes:
  • The academics could be better.,
  • It lacks community because we don't have a lot of focus on sports, so the college doesn't get a chance to come together and celebrate Drexel.

I picked this over any other college because of its city-integrated campus. It also had business analytics as an option for a STEM degree, even though it was a co-major, so only 24 extra credits. Also liked their co-op system where you get to intern full-time with big companies, almost promising a return offer in the future.

  • Dislikes:
  • I wish there were more activities outside of regular university co curriculars. Would have loved to explore more,
  • More social events where I could network more. Maybe I needed to sign up for more so I guess more marketing of those events?,
  • Post Graduation resources are a little scarce. Wish I could stay in contact more

I had taken the SATs and applied for Drexel University alongside 4 other universities (Texas A&M, NYU, Purdue, and Penn State). I got in all the above listed and got deferred in NYU. The application process specifically for Drexel was pretty straightforward. I had to submit my SAT score, write 2 essays, and fill out the application form, and financial aid form. I had applied early decision.

They're a private school, specializing in co-ops, and are among the best in the country with connections to Fortune 500 companies. Students are able to gain 2 years of experience even before graduation.

I chose Drexel for the co-op program and also because I planned to transfer before I started and my counselor told me a private school would be easier to transfer from.

I chose Drexel University mainly because of its co-op program. I also chose it because of the wide range of options in majors and minors, which allowed me to explore different programs that the university offered.

The Drexel Co-op program gave internship experience prior to receiving my degree. At the time I went, not a lot of colleges offered this, so it was a great incentive. It was also located in a pretty major city that allowed for a metropolitan experience.

The co-op program! Our co-op program is world class. Students get placed into top 500 companies and get paid well. They can also work anywhere in the domestic United States or internationally. You work for 6 months full time instead of going to classes.
