- The Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mathematics is intended to provide a broad base in applied and industrial mathematics. The goal of the program is to produce students who will attain distinction in their fields of research. In order to achieve this, the program has required core courses as well as a set of electives providing cross-disciplinary subjects. Eligibility & Entry Requirement
In addition to the general UCF graduate application requirements, applicants to this program must provide:
- One official transcript (in a sealed envelope) from each college/university attended.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline.
- Official, competitive GRE score taken within the last five years.
- Résumé.
- Statement of educational, research, and professional career objectives.
- Three letters of recommendation.
