Kjsce curriculum is the best. As I told earlier we don't need to pass internals and externals seperately as in mumbai University. They makes us future ready. There is more practical than theory. They teach us real life lessons. There is no con at all
283000 a year college does give scholarships also has covid aid facility which is very good.Campus placements are there they will provide u with all u need to sit for the placement will develop your resume as well also they give internships.
In every semester, two In-semester examinations are conducted and IAs for the Internal assessment. So exams are conducted on monthly basis. The exams are based on only the syllabus and the self-learning topics in the syllabus. It is not so difficult to pass if you study accordingly.
I chose this course because I was fond of coding and I also discovered my interest way before when I was in school. The faculty-student ratio in KJSCE is 50+:1000+. The qualification of faculty includes all are highly and professionally qualified with a high level of understanding of core subjects. The teaching method provided by almost all faculties here is very practical. It's all about the practical implementation of knowledge they believe in. Termly 3 exams are there, the first is in November (winter) and another is in May (summer).
The curriculum is really nice, it's upto date with the latest tech.
Fees structure is pretty expensive as compared to other colleges of mumbai. As campus of our college is big, it requires more amount to get maintained, But according to me the fees is much more than expected for an engineering college. Now the fess for one year will be 2. 85 lacs as somaiya has become an university.
The course was recently updated in 2018 and a lot of modifications were made. Students are allowed to choose their own specialization fields. The faculties were amazing, some of them are Dhruman utekar, Algonda Desai, Ranchna Desai.
It's good nothing special but we have many events here which students love and get engaged in it as well with much dedication, after all it's a pretty chill life here with not much stress on students.
