Kj somaiya university has an amazing staff , too many activities for personal development
Has good sports activities has amazing classroom

Dislikes

Nothing that i disliked , everything is perfect for students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course that i chose , lectures of that course are quite understandable student to teacher ratio is also amazing Exam are held twice a year We have 2 semesters in a year Internals are also held and information about it is given.

Huge campus with alot of greenary and amazing sports facilities
Canteen and mess food quality being amazing and huge variety of food options available

Dislikes

Even after taking 10k fees per year for plain bcom classrooms without proper electricity
College had not graduation ceremony which is very demotivqting

Placement Experience:

Placement cell isn't really the best. Companies coming to the campus aren't the great. Very few multinational companies come and other being small firms offering same to similar roles with less to no diversity

Parking is not good

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is nice and cool but tough one. The teaching is taken from the CA foundation level. The exams are tough and time given isn't sufficient. If they try to make syllabus bit easy and not from CA foundation itself. It will be lot easy for students to focus and score.

I really liked the campus, Canteen, Even some teachers are very supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I subjects were all relevant to the course but mostly theory was focused rather than practicals which is more required in this particular field. It would have been great if practicals were more focused rathet than just theory

The campus was. Overall very good it is huge compared to other colleges
There are many facilities in the college

Dislikes

Need to walk much in campus and it is tiring
In mumbai rains there is much problem in college inside the campus travelling

Placement Experience:

The placements are overall satisfactory there is benefit of city like mumbai as all companies visit as compared to tier 2 cities like pune and any other college in there it is very good every student get their chance of getting placed in type of company they want to get in according to their branch and their interest

Overall Campus is good , with sports facilities.

Dislikes

Faculty can be improved and student teacher relations should be improved.
Campus in/out time should be changed and permission to roam in campus 24/7.

Placement Experience:

After sem 6 students become eligible for campus placement. Companies like JP Morgan Chase and Co. With 19.75 lpa and many more. The highest packet is around 50lpa and the average is around 1000000 lpa. Almost 95 to 98 percent campus placement which is good.

Freedom of choice of exposure course. Here they have alot of options such as sports ,arts, film making, singing etc
Flexible curriculum. As in mumbai University you have to pass internals as well as externals in kjsce you get to pass with internals+external. This allows student to focus on extra courses and be job ready.

Dislikes

Class doens't have ac as Mumbai is now getting way more hot. But the college has find a solution and ac will be installed in upcoming month
That's all I don't think this college has anything to be dislike

Placement Experience:

Placements of this college is pretty good than other private colleges. The highest package is 57lpa and the average is 7-9Lpa. 100% students get placement who chooses for placement. There is an option for students who wants to study further or get placements. My future plans after getting the degree is to do mtech.

Career preparation was top notch as career counselling, networking was provided that helped students to prepare for their future careers.
Campus is the best attractive thing in this college as it has very wide and big campus were you can play sports, chill with friends, study under trees and many more.

Dislikes

Cost i think the cost is too high we can be burden for students who cannot afford and lead to student debt and pressure for family.
Large classes is also an little issue because in first year large lecture classes can feel impersonal and make it difficult to get individualized attention.

Placement Experience:

Many top companies visit the campus placement and offered great salary package in this field. If you didn't get placement in campus you can easily get job in outside market with this degree with nice pakage.

Camups area of Somaiya University is very Sophisticated
Teaching Staff of This University is very good

Dislikes

There are no many opportunities for internship in somaiya
There are many bad things students tend to do in somaiya

Although the frequency of exams is quite difficult it is still manageale because although the exam schedule are arranged at the thirst of time it is still ok because the college timings and frequency provides ample amount of time for students to study

There is only one problem of timetable of faculty are not fix

Student eligible for campus placement from third year there are many companies are visted in unversity like microsoft infosys , Tcs etc .most of the student get placement from unversity only . after getting degree i want to do master at that university only.
