The curriculum is better than other colleges. It gives hands on experience with mini projects & other assignments. But the exam pressure on students is something they should work on. It's really hard to study for end sem exams.

The course includes all the topics which is also part of the syllabus of the GATE exam, which is good. The curriculum needs to be more practical rather than theoretical. The focus should be more on projects. Each semester consists of 1 mid-semester exam, internal assessment, teamwork, viva, practical and end-sem exam.
I chose this course because i was equally interested in hardware as well as software, and I has a passion of working with both The faculty-student ratio is 150:3000 In KJSCE each and every faculty are highly qualified, to be very specific, in computer branch, almost every faculty has their Masters degree also some have their PHD from the reputed colleges As KJSCE is a fully autonomous college, the terms are held twice in a year here, as it is very common One in November and one in May
I chose this course because I want to go abroad and I want to do Masters there and get placed well, in the same stream, and this course has hot technical domains trending all over the world currently. The faculty student ratio is 400+:4500+. In KJSCE there is no problem with faculties as such because they are highly and satisfactorily qualified with very very nice behaviour The terms are conducted twice as this is an autonomous institute, one in November and one in May
I have done Diploma in Computer Engineering. So, I opted for a degree in the same field. Here, the teaching method is modern with well-equipped labs and digital services. You get an official mail address and can access a number of paid services from Google and its partners for free. Since KJSCE is autonomous so the syllabus here is a little bit different from others so you need to work hard to cope up, else there are plenty of events going on to enjoy. For term exams, these are quite similar to MU
I was overall excited to learn programming and coding, it was and is very cool for me. The faculty-student ratio is 50+: 1000+. The qualification of each faculty is max, it is they all either have PHD or Masters degree in their skills of interest. The termly exams include November and May exams.
Faculty to Student ratio: One faculty for ~60 students.Faculties ranging from MTech to PhD.Exams were held timely and the difficulty level varied between easy and tough. The syllabus is flexible owing to autonomy, but still not in line with the fast-paced tech out there. Aside from Unit and Semester tough, continuous internal assessments in place to help students learn better
The college is autonomous affiliated to Somaiya university itself therefore it follows it's own curriculum and syllabus which is quiet good. They concentrate more on practical learning than theoretical. There are lots of industrial visits every year. Also faculties are nice.
Fees structure of the college is as per the government norms. The fees structure may vary year to year. There is a backward quota as well who don't have to pay all the fees. The fees acceptance mode for the college is through DD. That is the only mode of payment and fees structure is feasible for the students.
The fee structure is a bit expensive. A general class student has a fee varying from Rs 170000 - Rs 190000 per year. However if you are a backward class student then the fees reduces. However with the facilities and exposure provided to the students, I would say it is just fine. I just have one complaint, there are no AC's in the college.
