Remarks :

I applied to a list of colleges but it was because just it was mandatory but I wanted to get into this college only because of the campus and exposure this college provides. No I didn't avail any quota, I was generally an open category student. The Minimum percentage at my time for Computer Branch was 94% for the open category. The counselling happened all online, and we were called to college for document verification.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I was overall excited to learn programming and coding, it was and is very cool for me. The faculty-student ratio is 50+: 1000+. The qualification of each faculty is max, it is they all either have PHD or Masters degree in their skills of interest. The termly exams include November and May exams.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 100450 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is a huge fees hike and the cost to study is above 1 lakh. It is not affordable for everyone sometimes. There is no scholarship here provided only the reserved categories students avail scholarship through government yearly scholarship scheme.

Campus Life :

There is a lot of fest in this college. Tech Fest is Abhiyantriki which has events like Technical Paper Presentation, Hackathon, Etc. It is held in October. Annual Cultural Fest is Symphony which is held in February. It has a lot of entertainments including Bollywood Night, Pro Shows, Etc. It lasts for 3 to 4 days. The books and journals are always available in the library in immense and students can use them whenever they want. KJSCE have a huge campus space. So there is a lot of tree plantation and garden type providing a lot of fresh air and study environment. KJSCE is involved in each and every sports and extracurricular activities including dance, singing, chess, cricket, etc. Dance team has also won a national competition. There are many social group and clubs of KJSCE including Rotaract Club, Alumni Cell, Internship Cell, Dec, etc.

Placement is not that good. Overall the average placement is only about 4,00,000 per year. And campus placement are there but it won't provide you high paying jobs you'll have to do that on your own. So focus more on personal skills

Placement Experience:

As I am in second year I don't have that much of idea about the placement but there are very good placements for the printing and intc branch in this college. There I will see near they got the very good packages for this branches and along with CS IT branches they got 40 to 50 lakh packages. Also the college provides the interview sessions and the placement training programs in that the experts come and give training to the students for placement programs. There are various students that are placed in with us countries like Japan Germany's and they are working in ITI and various professions.

Campus placement offered is good for courses surrounding IT domain. Computer and IT department get an average CTC of 10 lpa whereas ENTC dept has avg CTC of 6-7 lpa. The college will state 100% placement but it is applicable only for eligible candidates.
