About UPUMS
Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences (UPUMS), popular with the name U.P. Rural Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, is a state medical university established in 2016 in Saifai by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The university is approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI), Dental Council of India (DCI), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and University Grant Commission (UGC). The university is accredited with NAAC, IQAC, and NABL and affiliated with Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur.
UPUMS has five major faculties namely, medical, dental, paramedical sciences, nursing, and pharmacy. MBBS, BSc Nursing, MD, MS, MDS, MCh, BPT, BRIT and BOT are some of the major courses offered at the university. The university also offers Diploma programs in Nursing and Paramedical streams that are affiliated with the State Medical Faculty, Lucknow. For admission to the MBBS at UPUMS, candidates need to have a valid score in NEET UG. The university offers 200 seats annually for the MBBS program, 15% of which are reserved under the All India Quota and the remaining under the State Quota. Candidates must qualify for NEET PG and NEET MDS for admission to MD/MS and MDS, respectively, at UPUMS. Admission to B.Sc (Nursing), B.Sc (Paramedical), BPT, and BOT are based on the Combined Paramedical, Pharmacy, and Nursing Entrance Test (CPNET) conducted by UPUMS. UPUMS Admission 2024
UPUMS Admission 2024 for UG courses such as MBBS is based on NEET UG, while admission to BSc Nursing, BPharm, BMLT, BRIT, BPT, and BOT is based on CPNET. For admission to postgraduate courses such as MD/MS and MDS, an individual needs to clear NEET PG and NEET MDS, respectively. Candidates need to qualify for the NEET SS exam for admission to MCh. Individuals need to pass an entrance test conducted by UPUMS for admission into MMLT, MPT, and MSc.
After clearing the exam, candidates must register for the counseling process. Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University is the authorized body to conduct counseling for nursing, pharmacy, and paramedical courses. Eligibility of the course is 12th passed with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology. NEET is the entrance exam for this course. Application fee is 1400 rs for NEET. Reservation for SC, ST, OBC, Ph is provided as per government rule.

Eligibility of this course is you have cleared your intermediate then you are eligible to fill up the form known as CPET (combined paramedical entrance test)it is conducted by abvmu (atal bihari vajpayee medical University) Cpet exam conducted in the month of june every year it has 200 questions if you want to admission in govt college then you have to gain around 140 to 150 marks by which there is rank on all over up. The entrance test level is not much high you can crack this exam in one month preparation There is reservation for the sc st and obc category

- Hostel rules are too much strict, sometimes we feel very bad
- Availability of shops and things which we required is not good.

The eligibilty for the B Pharm is passed in 10+2 with PCB or PCM . To take admission in our collge or university you have to give an entrance exam named as CPPNET and the application form is released on the sarkari result where you can find and submit it.

- Infrastructure of the college is good . We have around to 4 buildings of academics only .
- Teachers behaviour is decent . They're cooperative.
Dislikes
- No playgrounds anywhere around the campus
- No extra-curricular activities were organised by the college

To take admission in our university you have to give an examination called CPNET . For applying under this you have to visit UPUMS official site . For Bpharm you have completed your 12th in science stream with either maths or bio. There are a total of 8 semester in Bpharm in which a total of 3 examination were taken in each semester having one month gap in between them.

- Every faculty has its own value and signifs the best health care profeesionals

- Some time thing which i was teacher has less time to interact with students

- There is 500 bedded super speciality hospital also opened recently.

- I unlike this University sometimes for ragging.
- Hostel rules are too much strict. Nightouts are not possible.

- it's among the top 10 government medical college in UP. Also the faculty is quite good in the departments.

- A disappointment is faced when it comes to campus location.

The admission process in the college is through NEET exam. Once you clear your NEET exam, you appear for the counseling process and then college is alloted to you as per your rank, considering the priority of colleges you have made. NEET exam is conducted once in a year. One can easily brag a government medical college seat with consistent hardwork and efforts.

I took the admission from cpet entrance exam through avbmu site. After class 12 you can take admission. In paramedicals like BPT , BRIT, BOPT. and also in nursing like BPharma , ANM, GNM . You can also take admission by adding EWS . Timing 3 hrs of exam and level is also good .
