Eligibility Criteria
Admissions into the B. Tech. Programs of IIIT-NR are based on JEE (Main) 2024 rank only. There are three different categories through which students are admitted :
- All India Quota: 35% of seats amounting to 95 seats (32 in CSE, 31 in ECE and 32 in DSAI) are in this category. Candidates who completed their school education in any part of India can apply under this category. These seats will be filled through JoSAA 2024 counselling . So, their eligibility will be as per the business rules of JoSAA 2024. All reservations will be as per the norms of the Government of India.
- NTPC Quota: 15% of seats amount to 40 seats (13 in CSE, 14 in ECE and 13 in DSAI) in this category. Candidates employed with NTPC or their wards who completed their school education in any part of India can apply under this category. Their eligibility will be as per the business rules of JoSAA 2024. All reservations will be as per the norms of the Government of India. These seats will be filled through the IIIT-NR online counselling process
- Chhattisgarh (CG) Quota: 50% of seats amount to 135 seats (45 in CSE, 45 in ECE and 45 in DSAI) in this category. The following are the eligibility criteria for admission under this category :
- Candidates must pass the 10th and 12th standard examinations from the schools in the State of Chhattisgarh only.
- Candidates must have scored 50% aggregate marks in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics (45% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD candidates) in their 12th standard examination.
- Candidates’ date of birth must be on or after October 01, 1998. For the candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC-NCL and PwD, the upper age limit is relaxable by three years, i.e. SC, ST, OBC-NCL, and PwD candidates’ date of birth must be on or after October 01, 1995. Only the date of birth recorded by the Secondary Education Board will be considered.
- Candidates who passed their 12th standard examination or any other qualifying examination in 2022, 2023 or 2024 shall be eligible. The candidates who appeared in the 12th standard or equivalent qualifying examinations in 2021, did not pass in 2021, but passed in 2022 are not eligible.

- We have Lush Green campus having 2 green grass grounds where we can play football cricket and nice supply of oxygen. And infrastructure is very good and having state of the art labs
- The placement is very where we were having 100% placement for two consecutive years and director says that our student are bult for industry level and that why we have so nice placement

- I do not like the mess food of college where person is giving not much standard food and cheff are not good.We like to eat outside rather than in our college
- I do not like some teacher who totally focus on theory and don't try to explain practical understanding of the course and they totally focus on marks and tests.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is very nice as compared to other NIT or IIT as in this from first semester we directly starts studying about coding languages and maths required for IT industry while in NIT we were taught chemistry and some other boring courses which are not useful at industry level for IT.In our curriculum having 10 subjects in starting and then in later semesters it starts to decrease. from first semester only we have given task to devlop projects and in each course we have 50% weightage of theory and 50% weightage of practical.And our curriculum keeps updated with industrial requirements.The frequency of exams are many and our much of the time is gone into giving test quizzes and exams which i consider not good.I would like to suggest that there should be appropriate time table for test so that student can able to focus his skills also.

- Routines are very hectic and exams are getting so much hectic.
- Lunch and Dinner taste are not so well. Zomato and swiggy also not available.

I'm little bit interested in ece. Faculty:Student is 0.13, phd scholars from different nits. 2 to 3 months the exam is little bit tough. To get 8 gpa is little tough in semester exams. The most of syllabus you have to cover from youtube because teacher is not so well teaching. Follow past year's papers.

The main reason for which i chose these college was for its advanced curriculum, you need not to study any not required subjects ,you will have only technical subjects which makes you ready for industry.Our Director is from University of Tokyo.The faculty here were well qualified from India's best Institutions like IIT's and NIT's. They will be available to guide you almost at all times, they will be friendly, and right from the first semester, you will travel with them for making projects. You can maintain a decent CGPA if just follow teachers' classes so try to maintain good attendance.

our college is very sincere about taking exams they take the bi-weekly quizzes and monthly exams be it mid-term or end-term for dividing the overall subject into phase wise and also very particular about lab exams, viva, group discussion, presentations etc.

This course has a good curriculum that will help students succeed in their careers. Yes, the course content is current and prepares students to work in a variety of industries.

There are scholorship during college time, 1 year no college fee, after that top 50% no tution fee 2nd year, 3rd year 33% student off tution fee, so if you have good performance you can get.Fee is not too much high. There are good job opportunities, If you want job, you surely get a job.

Fee Structure is quite high. But its similar to all other engineering colleges. Tution fees per semester is 75000.financial assistant is given on the basis of merit to some students every year who do excellent in academic.

This is the best thing about the college. Here we follow fractal academics , and syllabus is updated with industry standards quite well. We conduct annual event which is IAM (Industry Academia Meet), which is very helpful for students to get feedback from the experts out their.

Fee Structure is quite expensive. It is about 2.25 lacs(hostel and mess included) per annum. Payment mode is mainly online but it can also be done through offline mode by cash or cheque. No other fees is to be paid other then this fees. There is complete transparency in the fee breakdown.
