Raja Man Singh Tomar Arts and Music University was established in 14^th August 2008 in the honor of Raja Mansingh Tomar as the king was very fond of Music and Dance. During his ruling period, there was great increase in progress of Music and Sculpture.

The University is situated in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. When the university started functioning with five Faculties of Music, Dance, Fine Arts, Theatre and Social Science with affiliation to nearly Ninety five institutions of Madhya Pradesh As a teaching cum residential university; the faculties have enriched the cultural heritage with various activities all around. The University aims at the advancement and cultural heritage with various activities all around. The University aims at the advancement and dissemination of learning and knowledge of music and arts and their role in national development.

Ananlysis over a university by a student sudied in that.

First thing to like it is only university of madhya pradesh which is for doing graduation in music related subjects whether it is vocal or instrumental or percussion. So in this field, colleges jn about three digits i.e. above 100 are associated with
This university. Second thing what i like is the syllabus for doing graduation or post graduation is concentrated on indian classical music mostly.
Third, is about linking musicians with the persons whether can be candidates interested in music mostly by seminars, demonstrations and kaaryashaalas too. One another good thing for students is that they can complete there phd research also.

Dislikes

There are many things that can be changed. First is that syllabus can be modified and could be real to implement like the syllabus for stage demonstration i.e. interview.
More, second change is to implement such things that could help improve one's thinking for music i.e. should not let complete students degree simply as music can't be accepted to have been completed simply by doing evaluation of theory of music. As,
It's main face is practical. Third is, hiring should be done as there is lack of staff.

Students view on curriculum

Since, music is alike with that of science , commerce etc. So there is a high demand of study to be smart i. e. Practial based. Curriculum have about two written tests and two semesters in a year in which about 80 % mark's distribution is in theoritical tests and less on practical which can be opposite too i.e. 80 % practical and 20 % theoritical. Curriculum seems to be relevant in only one aspect and that is the tests being conducted for the teaching job in the field of music whether school level or college level.

Fees of the course per year

If i talk about detailed fee structure, the total about it i know is that i was about 10000 yearly for bachelor as well as for masters and slightly less for those pursuing in private mode at that time. And, concerning scholarships, since i am from unreserved category so there was no any scholarship system was there for me. So i can't say anything about it. Second thing if i talk about fees increasing fact , so obviously i think that at least a little increment would be there from since the year 2014 when i completed my graduation.

Students view on campus life

If i think about social aspects, i don't see any connection beween pursuing graduation i this university and social link ups. As there were not any musical programs were being organised for students of the university to connect socially.

Students view on faculties and examination of the college

If we talk about faculty members whether assistant, associate or professor simply, so first faculties, having completed masters and phd are there. Additionally, having some research papers and stage performances certificate attached in their cv. But in the case of being facult of university, to make student learnt is the main responsibility. To be learnt and to make other learnt are two different things. Now, talking about exam system, so it is mostly formally made i.e. lack of practical approach seems to be there. Same semester pattern like of other subjects like in commerce , science etc.with a non - practical syllabus have to attempt twice in a year for regular and one yearly exam goes conducted for private in which syllabus of both the semesters is presented. Marking scheme is percentage based and few marks are distributed for demonstration or viva. So, can be said to be prioritized in the theoritical context in which an high modification is expected.

Admission Process of the college

Nothing to say more in the answer of this question, as i was clear and this was the best option for me to take admission in this university as it was near to me disctrict and also the only one in mp for music as having the name i.e. Raja Mansingh Tomar Music and Arts University.

Night Life

University is not in such place where there are many cafeterias. University is only having one library. There is not any hostel or campus of university. Famous hangout places were our friend's rental rooms where we were used to stay specially in the season of semesters. Specially, if i talk of mine, i used to do up downs from my disctrict i. e. Datia - Gwalior. So, i were in datia in night and used to go to an expert's house to listen and to try to learn music.

Artemisa? Should You really consider it?

Dislikes

The college lacks a playground. So the college event are held on private grounds.
The size of the college is ver smalll amd minimalistic.

Admission:

The other college i tried reaching was NID, the reason were simple as it was a government college and the rates of placements are significantly higher, but i dropped my idea of joing NID was because the fees structure of NID was out of mya financial capabilities, and i heard that artemisia is like only second to NID so i applied here and got selected.

Artemisia collage bad and good

I love interacting with batchmates of my course and as well as students of the other courses
I personally liked the infrastructure of the college and proper utilisation of the campus

Dislikes

Due to lack of space there is no ground or play area where students can play
There is a very unstable connection of internet in the entire college campus

so i applied for NID but didn't make it into it as I wasn't able to qualify prelims exam then I ended up in this college as it has low fees compared to all other design collage with decent faculty and has two was for admission one was proper exam and second was portfolio and interview I showed them portfolio and went for interview which I cracked easily and got into this collage

Good design collage in indore

This collage also have a separate lightbox room for clasical animation for better learning animation
The people in the collage are very friendly and one thing there is no ragging in this collage

Dislikes

This collage didn't have any play ground and their campus is also small
This collage is situated little bit outskirts from the main city

NoBefore I applied this collage I also applied to amity university mumbai for their animation and vfx course (b.sc) and I got a confirm addmission but cost in living in Mumbai is higher then indore so I choose this collage over amity university mumbai. I didn't get rejection but I didn't go any other collage cause their fees were high and cost living also. Admission process of this collage is very simple just you have to apply for their course in their website and you will get a call they will guide you for everything.eligibility if you have pasing mark in your previous examination and have a passion for creative way then you will get addmission easily

You won’t get any option to apply online for a mark sheet. You need to visit the university physically with the requisite documents to apply for the mark sheet.

You can apply online from the official website of the college or you can fill out the form offline and submit it on campus. The first-year fee for the MA course is INR 3,050, it is a full-time on-campus course.

To be eligible to apply, You must have completed master’s degree with atleast 50% marks. You final selection will scores in CRET exam.
