Birla Institute of Technology BIT, established in the year 1997 is a technological institute located at Lalpur, Ranchi in the state of Jharkhand.
At the UG Level, BIT Lalpur offers BBA and BCA program. At the PG level, the college offers MCA, MBA, and M.Sc. program.

Birla Institute of Technology offers BBA and BCA at the UG level with 50 seats in each respectively.
The basic eligibility for BBA and BCA is minimum 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 examination in any stream with English subject in qualifying examination.
Admission to BBA and BCA is granted on the basis of merit secured in the qualifying 10+2 examination.

BIT Lalpur MBA, MCA and M.Sc. Admission 2024
Birla Institute of Technology offers MBA, MCA and M.Sc. at the PG level. The eligibility criteria for admission to MBA is minimum 50% marks in Bachelor’s degree in any stream. For MCA, candidates must have qualified with minimum 55% marks in 10+2 examination with either Mathematics/Computer Science/Information Practices as a subject of study. For M.Sc., candidates must have passed B.Sc. degree with 55% aggregate marks from a recognized university listed under UGC/AIU.
Admissions to MBA is done on the valid score secured in CMAT /CAT/XAT/MAT followed by GD/PI. For M.Sc. admission are granted on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. For MCA, admission is granted on the basis of valid score obtained in BIT MCA and counselling conducted by the institute.

- For selection in MBA program, the minimum preference for CAT, XAT and CMAT percentile is 40% and overall marks for MAT is 320 for General Category.
- For SC/ST category, the minimum preference for CAT, XAT and CMAT percentile is 35% and overall marks for MAT is 280.
- Admission to M.Sc. program is available only for Girl candidates.
- For MCA, candidates who hold qualifications in BCA, B.Sc. in IT/Electronics/Computer Science or B.Sc. in Mathematics/Statistics can also apply.
BIT Lalpur Application Process 2024
Candidates can fill the application form for all UG and PG program offered by the college through online mode. Applicants need to register for the National Level examination from the respective website of the conducting body.
How to Apply
- Visit the official website of the college and click on the link “Apply Online”.
- Create Username and Password and select the course.
- Select the wanted preference of centres.
- Fill the application form and submit it online.
- Pay application fee of INR 2500 for General/OBC category and INR 1500 for SC/ST candidates through SBI net banking or card in favour of “Birla Institute of Technology”.
- Download and print the fully filled application form.

Admission:
The admission process is merit based on 12th result marks. The minimum marks required is 60 percent and with a student must have computer subject. Application form fees is 1500 rs. Our college exam conducts medium level of difficulty.

- I like some of the faculty here who guide us properly.
- Examinations are held on time. There are no delay on exams.
Dislikes
- Campus is very small and no exposure here.
- No any fest or any dj nights are organized in campus

The eligibility of this course is only a 12th pass. there are no issues with the bio students and there is no any entrance exam for this course. you just have to fill out the registration form and after that, in 2 or 3 days you get the call for admission.

- The college is good. The classes are going on 2 shirt .one in morning till afternoon and other afternoon to evening.
- The classes are well modified and having 3 AC in it with fire alarm also.
Dislikes
- The campus is very small and it is not well developed.
- In this university, there is no co-education which is a essential part of our today generation.

Eligibility of this course is with either computer and maths subject is compulsory. The application form is available on website or you can visit to take it offline. 1500 is the application fees There is no entrance exam . We have got the admission according to the merit list . The ares should to impoved that result should to released within the time period.

- All class room had 3 A/C due to which environment of the class becomes cold

- Parking area is short, due to this four wheeler's had to park outside
- Timing for boys is at afternoon after the classes of girls

Admission is given on the basis of merit to the students who scored 85% and avobe. And the students who scored less than that had to fill the admission form and wait for their name on the admission list provided by the college

- Various types of sport's are being organised.

- Internship are not provided by college to students.
- Not very good placements are being provided to students.

Application process was very simple . In +12 we need to score more than 75% for getting admission and for filling form we need more than 50%. After filling the form the list is being updated in college site and the students selected have to come with their documents to cross verify

Eligibility of bachelor of computer application is only 12 pass you have to apply through online and selection is done through percentage of Mark's you got and reservation is here but not much considered

BIT Mesra took direct admission. It is not on the basis of merit list. There should be entrance exam for taking admission in BIT Mesra lalpur campus because of the environment of the college. College have their own websites from which we can take the application form.

In BIT mesra, lalpur you get selected via merit list, only class 12th marks matter you should have more than 60% in your class 12. Your addmission will be taken on the basis of marit list no entrance exams are taken for BBA, BCA.

- The faculty is here is very well trained and excellent at teaching
- The environment is very light and tends to be competitive at times too

- There should be a canteen facility in the campus for the students
- There should be consideration of attendance if a student has serious medical condition
Admission:
The eligibilty was above 75% in Class 12th for Science stream students, since I was above the threshold, I was admitted into the course. All the details for the admission are conveyed to the students through the college's website. The classes are 5 days per week (Monday to Friday) and the duration ranges between 3-5 hours. The classes are pretty fun and comparatively easy if one pays attention in the class. According to me no such improvements are needed in the admission process.
