- First think that I like is excellent placements
- Second, boys and girls ratio 1:5 , which is good.
Dislikes
- Campus area is too small, which is about 50 acres
- Hostel room capacity is 10 students, from 2 year.In first year 2 students in single room
Hostel Facilities:
Hostel facilities are decent. In first year 2 students are live in a single room, but from second year 10 students are live in a holl type room. Locality PGs are available and rent is veries as your facilities demand.

- The coding culture is the core strength of the college. It gives tough competition to top IIT's as well
- Some faculties are good and experienced.The Hostel facilities are good for girls
Dislikes
- Hostel facilities for boys is subject to availability, there is no separate boys hostel and this they are forced to live in 10-12 seater rooms
- Proper Sports facilities & equipments are not available
Hostel Facilities:
The hostel facilities are subject to availability. The three seater rooms available are good but the condition of rooms for more than three seater. In first year you mostly have to live in hostel outside the campus which would be rented by the institute. In nearby locality one can easily get a flat in around 9-10 k for 1 BHK rooms

- I really liked the coding culture of the college which i would say is amongst the best in the country.
- I really liked a number of faculties which are very understanding, helpful and highly qualified.
Dislikes
- I did not like the facilities in terms of sports, other facilities are okay but not the sports one.
Hostel Facilities:
There is currently 1 hostel for boys and girls and dormetry for boys only. The quantity of hostel rooms is not much but the quality is very good. The hostels are very near to the admin block and classrooms which is rare in my opinion. This makes life a little easy. Talking about mess and their food, it is of decent quality. Compared to other colleges it is much better but nothing can match the taste of home cooked food. Some students prefer taking rooms on rent to avoid hostel life(I don't know why? hostel life is best) and take rooms in nearby apartments which are very near like 2-3 kms.

- Curriculum - the curriculum of IIIT L is too good as compared to NITs . I would say it's the best for a cs oriented college.
- Senior Junior interaction - seniors are always there to help you out . There is a culture of tech parent and tech child which helps the students a lot .
Dislikes
- Campus is small. The area granted by the government is not built by the college authorities.
- Hostels - hostels are also not built even though there is space allocated for them to built.
Hostel Facilities:
Hostels for the first year are away from the campus ( only for the boys , girls are accomodated in the campus), approx 1.5 km . Mess quality is good. Menu has diverse items . Menu is made such a way that it covers items from all the region south north everywhere. The breakfast and evening snacks are really nice , lunch and dinner are average.

- Coding Environment is also very good in our college.
Dislikes
- I disliked about mosquitoes there a lot of.
- There is no extra sports activities in our college
Hostel Facilities:
Hostel rooms are very good. There will be 3 beds in a room and they also provide table, chair and lamp too. Meal is very good and you can take as much you can. You have to stay in hostel only there is no pg in locality.

Rooms are well maintained, we have 24 hrs. WIFI. meal quality is good as compared to NITs and IITs. Hostels and rooms were allotted at the time of admission and we got keys at the time of physical reporting.

The mess food quality is good and the menu is very vast. The hostel provides us 24 hours of high-speed WiFi facility. The hostel staff and warden are friendly we don't feel away from home in the hostel. The hostel is full of modern facilities as per our comfort.

The facility provided in thew hosel rooms are a bed, chair, table,table lamp, almirah and also the internet connection. The quality of mess food is good. Also we get a special meal once in a month. We get 4 times meal in a day, Hostel is affordable.

How are hostels at IIIT Lucknow?
Some of my friends from IIIT Lucknow have said their hostels are all about the newly built, grand and very well equipped and built.
Hostels are large, modern, full of natural light and air.They have good quality furniture, are well built, fully furnished including beds, table, chair and Almirah.
Total hygiene is ensured of each part of the hostel premises. Washrooms are cleaned at least twice everyday. Kitchen and hostel rooms are also cleaned upon permission of the hostels residing inside those rooms.
The newly built infrastructure is the latest, and beautiful. Lecture theatres and labs have state of the art facilities. Clean drinking water is available 24/7 along with Wi-Fi and electricity. A fully equipped clinic is present having at least one residential nurse along with a Visiting doctor. A Warden, security guard and other caretakers are present all time inside the hostel to ensure your security. You may approach the warden at any time if you have a problem with something
A fully functional mess with a capacity of 200 people at a time is present in the hostel. It serves meals 4 times a day. A committee is present that is responsible for maintaining the quality, taste, variety and hygiene of the served food.Wi-Fi and LAN connections are present at every corner of the hostel.
An indoor common area for gatherings, carrom, chess, board games and outside, 2 badminton courts are present.You may avail the laundry service or you can opt to wash your clothes by automatic washing machines present in the hostel itself.The furniture and lifts are physically handicapped friendly. Newspapers are provided daily. There is a Tata sky subscription to all channels. The hostels do not discriminate among students.
