Students recieve both On-Campus and Off-Campus placement opportunities and higher packages are generally Off-Campus. The top recruiters are Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Flipkart, Samsung, etc.

Students gets and opportunity of an internship from starting of 3rd year .Students from iiit kota get good offers from good companies like amazon,flipkart etc after they finish thier studies . Companies such as Flipkart, Yamaha, Amazon, Adobe, Oracle, Infosys, Oyo, and many more companies visited in 2022-24 total 181 number of offers made. In 2022-23, 53 is the higest pakage and 15.5LPA is the average pakege. in 2022-23, around 85% of students got placed. After getting a degree I will be preparing for higher studies.

For on campus internships students are eligible from third year.and for on campus placements students are eligible from fourth year.in cse about 85% of the students got placed.highest pacage offered was 53 lakhs per annum by flipkart which was off campus .and 32 lpa on campus.I want to do tech job after graduation.

Placements are good with average package of about 1700000 and this year's highest was just above 1cr . About 95 percent of Students get placed . Various companies like Flipkart , Microsoft, and other MNCs visit the college

From the 5th semester campus, placements will be there. Most of the companies related to software like Infosys, Wipro, oracle etc. Also, some companies related to the core side. The highest package is about 55 lakhs. It is mostly based on the skills and knowledge of the candidate. About 90% of students got placed.

- CSE students also have to study one or two ECE subject.

We will start receiving internships, officially, from the third year but you can explore and pick up off-campus internships from the second year also. Companies like Yugabyte, amazon, gap, goldman sachs, etc. have visited the campus. The highest package for cse went around 80 lpa and the average for cse is 16 lpa, 14 lpa for ece. Around 90 percent of students get placed. My plan is to grab a package of around 20 lpa.

our college offers good placements and in recent years we even got the highest package of more than 50lpa and apart from that our college has more left without jobs. I hope they will improve placements.

How good are IIIT Kota and IIIT Jabalpur in terms of placement and education?
IIIT Kota is very new and is yet to make a mark with respect to IIIT Jabalpur. Whereas, with IIIT-Jabalpur the placements do keep varying. More or less, the placements are improving.
Academics:
- IIIT Jabalpur has a very sound academic curriculum owing to the fact that IIT Kanpur was its mentor.
- In IIIT Kota the curriculum is good but it hardly matters when you have teachers with hardly any knowledge.
- The interdisciplinary curriculum in IIIT Jabalpur makes the academic bit steadfast with the add-on of designing structure.
- Moreover, academic projects are floated in almost every important course.
- Hence, adding a skill set to the students.
So, to put it together, the academics are nice, but placements can be improved. Being from IIIT gives you a special charm. Also, being new IIITs, they will take some time to establish themselves and the education factor is quite decent when compared to tier-2 private engineering colleges. But, they still have a long way to go reach the bar set by NITs or IITs.
The top bracket companies pay really well, but these new IIITs won't be the first choice for these companies. The mid-range paying companies will flock to these new IIITs; so, you will get a decent package.
So overall, it is better to have something than nothing.
How were the placements at IIIT KOTA this year? What are the placement statistics?
The first batch of IIT Kota graduated in 2017 and there were very few students, but still, placements were decent. It actually surprised everyone. One of my friends was a part of the first batch.
Placement Statistics 2017:
The institute only had CSE at first. Almost 60% of students got placed and the highest CTC was 26.5 lakhs/year. In the same year, Amazon selected 6 students from MNIT for internships. Out of those 6 students, 3 were IIITians.
