Almost 80% seniors of our department got placed last year in on-campus placement whereas, the rest were placed off campus. However, the highest package offered previous year was 8 LPA. On the other hand, the average package reached 3.5 LPA. Now, since the placement cell helps in bridging the gap between the students and the employers, they also focus on maintaing the placement record and so, once they invite the recruiters and all the process like job description, profile details, eligibility criteria and other details are sent to the placement cell, they organise pre-placement talks in order to enhance soft skills, analytical skills, personality development, to get placed in one go.Lastly, after completing masters from this University, if I get a job I will continue working and gain experience first off.
There was a mandatory 1 month internship which needed to take by each and every student. According to this internship, we chose our schools and then took the classes of students. It was not a paid internship but provided alot of experience.
A lot of MNC companies come in this university for placements.Not all students get placements, but many sincere students manage to get a job with the help of placement cell in our University.
we do not have an Internship training programme in my whole B.Com course. Sometimes workshops and seminars were held where teacher's speech are very inspirational.
Mostly all good organisations come in our University for Placements. Packages are also good.There is a placement cell in our University who helps us to take right career choice.They are very motivational.
