Internships Opportunities:

1. Yes my college received 100% placement and all students received paid internships with highest placement being 70,000, the average placement being 34,000 and i dont have information for the lowest internship. 2. The preferred companies are Marsh and ITC and bigbasket for marketing, arcesium and dell for finance. Their monthly stipend ranges from 50,000-70,000 3. There is no particular company that hires in bulk for internship. 4. Many students convert ppo and you cannot sit for the final placement process when you get the ppo.

Course curriculum is the main thing that makes the college stand out.
The faculty was also a major aspect in the success of the course curriculum.

Dislikes

Not good placement opportunities, especially for the ones associated with finance.
No events organized by the college even after high fees for the college.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement opportunities start from the first semester of 3rd year or the 5th semester. The eligibility for the opportunity is generally decided by the company that arrives. The main drawback was that there were not many finance roles offered in my placement season due to which I am currently suffering with it. A few of the companies that brought finance roles and offers made were Tresvista(4-5), Verity(1), and Wells Fargo(5-6 (2 finance)).

The college infrastructure is great. There are various facilities for co cuttivulars as well as to relax down. The classroom setting is based on the harvard stle classrooms.
The proffesors in college are highly educated and hold a deep understanding of their respective subjects.
College provides various opportunities to interact with the corporate world helping the students prepare for the future.

Dislikes

The college is located in a backward area in banglore, so not alot of people in bangalore are aware of it.
The courses are very rigours and test the students alot.
The hierarchy in the university is very strict hence every decision needs to get through a certain chain.

Internships Opportunities:

The college offers internahip opportunities through various companoes taht can help you gain practical experience. The companies are generally based out of banglore and interviews are conducted in the campus.

The how the course structure is and proper course outline
Great infrastructure, ac classroom, proper labs and library
Faculties are excellent except for some subjects.

Dislikes

Campus life and proper fest and lack of sports activity
Functions and celebrations are very less
There is no arrears system which means after you fail a subject in a semester u will have a chance for reexam and if you fail reexam you will hav to have a year back even if u just fail 1 subject

Internships Opportunities:

So insternship is included in the curriculum after each year. After first yr NGO internship and after 2nd yr corporate internship. College just provides 1-2 opportunities. I worked for axis bank as an intern

Curriculum wise it's very much CA oriented, so it helps for people who wants to pursue CA.
For UG placements is also good. Placement Packages starts from 600000 Rs
Infrastructure is very good. All the facilities available inside the campus

Dislikes

Failing structure is very poor. There is no arrear system.
Less sports interaction. Very less sports tournaments organised.
College Fests are very small. No programs at all.

Internships Opportunities:

College doesn't provide you internship opportunity. There is a compulsory internship requirement after every year. After 1st yr it's a NGO internship and after 2nd yr it's a Corporate internship. All the internship should be done by you. College only brings 1-2 opportunities.

The faculties here are very friendly and very approachable. This campus feels like home and the crowd is also nice
The cafeteria has huge number of options be it food or drinks
Infrastructure is expanding and many new games have been added

Dislikes

Management. There is no time to self study. Pressure is a lot more than a normal college
Alot of ICA components happen which is tiring

Placement Experience:

From 8 or ,9 semester students become eligible for placements. Many companies come to our college for recruitment and we have students getting placed here. Opportunities are there and students must grab it. Tier 1 companies even come to recruit students from our college

The faculties at NMIMS, Bangalore are highly qualified. All the professors focus on the learning and development of an individual rather than mere teaching. A lot of real case studies are taught for all subjects making it more interesting to learn.
Another good fact about NMIMS, Bangalore is the gender and regional diversity. The male and female ratio is almost close to 1:1 which is rare in other B-Schools. There is a balanced ratio of students from North, South, East and West.
The college has a great infrastructure with centralized Air-Conditioning. College's building has three levels and one level of parking. The college has modern Lecture Rooms, Group Discussion Rooms, Huge Library, Cricket Ground, Auditorium, etc.

Dislikes

College's hostel is situated a bit far from the campus which make it a drawback since the purpose of hostel gets destroyed if it is not in the college premises. Also, the location of the hostel is not safe.
The college does not have a ground. It has a very small ground which is not meant for students to sit or play thus, all the sports activity are conducted outside the college. A well equipped sports ground will help students in getting exposure.
The food available in the canteen is decent and could be improved. There are very limited options and the cost attached to it does not justifies the quality.

Some big and loyal recruiters that hires summer interns from NMB are MTR, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Marsh, ICICI Bank, DELL, Big Basket, Arcsium, Eli Lilly, Reserve Bank of Inida, Honeywell, Manyavar, Tally, Adobe, etc. The college has emabrked 100% placement for Summer Internships since its inception. I had secured my Summer Internship with JPMorgan Chase & Co. The experience whil doing my internship with such a good brand was enriching and a journey where I learned a lot. The two months had been absolutely amazing and unforgettable.
