Mody University Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship
A candidate can avail Mody University Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship on the basis of MUCET (Mody University Common Entrance Test)/ Interview/ any other entrance test whichever is applicable.
- This scholarship scheme is not applicable to Ph.D/ M.Tech/ Certification/ Diploma Courses.
- To carry forward this scholarship, the student must maintain 7.0 and 8.0 & above yearly without any backlogs for MBA and other courses respectively.
- The university can cease the scholarship if the candidate is involved in any kind of misconduct.
- Submission of the required documents and the fees before the last date is necessary for availing of this scholarship.

- The best part was the infrastructure. It has a lush green campus with amazingly built buildings.
- The placements were also pretty good. Almost all the students get placed in my course every year.
Dislikes
- Faculty and teaching methods can be improved. Students needs more practical and hands on experience to get more familiar with the technologies.
- Campus life can be improved by conducting a good annual cultural fest and more events.

Tuition fee was high in my opinion. They do increase the fees a bit at times but it doesn't happen very frequently. The tuition fee of my course is approximately 9 lakhs. But the good part is they provide numerous types of scholarships based on class 12th marks and jee percentile. I got a placement from the University for the role of development engineer.

- They provide 6 months mentorship program of development
Dislikes
- 4th semester is not project based and that makes early joiners difficult to cope up with studies
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
There is certain increase in fee per year. The total cost of course for 2 year is 8.7 lakh but they provide additional scholarship that students can avail based upon their graduation grades. Also they provide the facility of bihar student credit card for the students of Bihar.

Dislikes
- There are no government holidays. We have to attend the classes
- Theres are no trips organized by the SET department.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
The fee structure for B.Tech in CSE is around 10 lakhs for 4 yrs without including the hosyel charges. With inclusion its around 16-20 lakhs for 4 years. To get scholarships one has to maintain her cgpa above 8.0 to avail the benefits. There will be reduction in the tuition fees.

- i dislike the teaching method .there is theoretical method rather then practical in teaching pattern

According to me, the fee structure is too high. The opportunity for a scholarship is rare if you got a high score in CAT or any other exam so you can get the opportunity. There is no finacial assitance. In this field, I think campus job is not good as per their fee structure.

the fees are high and sometimes don't even qualify for the courses we were being taught. though there is the option of paying guest/hostels outside the campus, inside the campus everything seems to be very expensive, plus it's a private college so the events and the personal account is always very expensive.

The fees structure changes as per the convenience of the management, there's no solid plan regarding that. Scholarships are also provided according to financial conditions and scholarships are only continued if you maintain a CGPA of 8 and above.

The tuition fee is approximately INR 250000/yr. If one chooses to live in on-campus hotels, then it would cost an additional INR 200000/yr (for a double seater room) approximately. However, if one opts for off-campus hostels, then the hostel charges may vary from as low as INR 40000/yr (for a triple seater) to as moderate as INR 80000/yr (for a single-seater). There are various criteria to avail scholarship. For instance, Toppers of any state board or central board can get a 100% waiver for a full term. A candidate scoring more than 95%, in PCM or PCB in class 12, or JEE Mains rank of up to 150000, or NEET rank up to 50000, or MEET rank up to 50 can get a 70% waiver for a full term. As the PCM or PCB score, JEE Mains rank, NEET rank, or MEET rank decreases, the percentage of waiver also decreases.
