- GATE 2025 Exam is scheduled for February 1, 2, 15 and 16, 2025. Further, new paper combinations have been added for the GATE 2025 exam. Interested candidates can check the revised GATE subject combinations here or on the official website @gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
NIT Mizoram offers a four-year B.Tech program in 5 specializations. Out of 5 specializations offered, the most opted stream at the institute is Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with a cutoff ranging from 9776 to 341464 in the JoSAA Counselling. The cutoff marks for all rounds of JoSAA are out. Candidates can check NIT Mizoram JEE Main Cutoff here.
For the B.Tech admissions at NIT Mizoram, candidates are required to appear for JEE Main examination and participate in the JoSAA counseling for the final seat allotments. NIT Mizoram Charges a fee of INR 1.37 Lakhs per year for its B.Tech program.
NIT Mizoram also offers admission to the M.Tech and Ph.D. programs. Admissions to the M.Tech program are done on the basis of GATE scores, while Ph.D. admissions are based on the written test and interview conducted by the institute.

NIT Mizoram M.Tech Admission 2024

- Photo ID proof as per Govt. of India norms.
- Class X (High School) Board Certificate as proof of date of birth.
- Mark Sheet of Class XII
- Grade Card/Mark Sheet of qualifying examination for all semesters and degree
- Certificate of category (SC / ST/ OBC-NCL) issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format (If you belong to reserved category).
- Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), if applicable.
- Proof of seat acceptance fee.
- Two sets of self-attested copies of all the documents listed above.
- The originals will be returned after verification and self-attested copies will be retained by the Institute.

- Lack of permanent campus which make a liitle bit hard.

Admission:
I choose this collage coz firstly i cleared the jee mains and got a seat in this collage and i got some good reviews and the faculty here are quite famous as the director is the head of the committe which set the maths exam of jee advanced exam 2015.

- There is no campus here,so we can roam around everywhere with friends
- Faculty is very good and electrical faculty is very strict and good
Dislikes
- There is no campus so we leave far from college, so we should take bus before half an hour provided by college
- It is hilly areas you have to walk along because we don't have campus we should walk up to the hills for classes

For this college we should write a joint entrance examination for qualification for the National Institute of Technology and for the general category it is 93-96 percentile and for another backward caste 92-89 and for SC or ST it is 75- 85 percentile.

Admission process was quite good we have to submit so many papers. I am from obc so I don't have many reservations but as my income category is below 1 lakh so my fee is reduced Other category for more than 5lakhs have to pay full fee that is 1lakh 30k Exams are conducted twice which are semester exams and there are internal exams too

- Sometimes walking that much distance is quite difficult

I am from oc category and EWS and I have rank of 87000 rank in my mains I have got reservation for EWS category And the admission process is also quite ok Exams are also moderate level . This nit does not have any campus so it would be. Better to keep this as last option

The admission process was quite ok and if you belong to the SC or ST category you will get so many benefits like there will be only academic fees and you can get so many scholarships and if you are from obc or oc and above 5 lakhs you have to pay the full fee and no scholarships My rank was 1 lakh 20k and with obc with that rank I got mizoram mechanical branch

The admission process was really smooth and staffs are very supportive and friendly. To come here one should clarify jee mains examination which is conducted by nta twice in a year. The cutoff is around 95 percentile.

The admission to nit Mizoram that i have prepared for jee mains from intermediate clg well and i tried my level best and i got seat in jee mains with 88.8% in second attempt and i have not not attemed my first attempt because of i met with an accindent in first session of jee mains other i can gain a seat in first attempt only

For taking admission in nit mizoram you would pass 12th board exam with at least 75% if you are cbse board student. You have to pass jee mains with approx 93 percentile . In jossa there is reservations but if you come through csab then there is no reservations.

- The environment is very pure and as it is on mountains one can enjoy view through the windows

- It is at very extreme location in the north east
- People here don't speak or understand Hindi so communication is tough

I got 96%ile in jee mains January attempt 2023 and got here in csab 1st round counseling. The admission process was very easy and all my documents were verified in 30mins. All the people were friendly.
