Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University (RKMVU), Coimbatore also known as the FDMSE campus is a member of Ramakrishna Mission (known as Ramakrishna Movement or Vedanta Movement) fraternity founded by Swami Vivekananda. It is located in the Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya started in 1930 and its foundation stone was laid by Mahatma Gandhi in one of its temporary campuses. The University holds the status of ‘Deemed to be University and is headquartered at Belur.

The eligibility of the course is 50% marks needed in the B.Sc course and anyone from any discipline from B.Sc can apply to the course of Agriculture and Rural Development. During the time of admission, it is needed only 150 rupees to fill out the form.

Excellent course structure with facilities like online and offline classes even in the pandemic. Teacher to student ratio is near to 2:3. Faculties are PhD scholars from elite Universities all across the globe. Term exams were strictly conducted offline with every possible precaution and on proper intervals.

The Course Syllabus of Diploma Electrical Engineering is updated. Quite often students are not able to pursue a full time engineering course for various reasons. Just to get a basic understanding of the engineering field, students often do diploma in engineering. Principal Maharaj, teaching and non-teaching staff, present and ex-students always feel proud of the college. This is the best government diploma engineering college in West Bengal. The college campus is very peaceful. The students get a very good platform for their future.

As this is the Ramkrishna Mission when we got into the college we feel very peaceful and go to the Mandir we can feel the peace. The environment of the colleges so good everywhere so many trees and there is a very big playground for all students to play every day.

The course curriculum is very good regarding every trade. It focuses on every necessary aspects of any trade which actually helps students very much. Mainly this course focuses on lab experiments which is very good. The exam structure is also very good and well managed.

The positive things I discussed previously. There are many positive things I discussed that before. But I want to say that our college is very strict. Main door closed at 10:30am every day. Noone is allowed after that time.

No negative remarks.but class is very strictly. and every class are attend.75% must attendance in semester from fill up.otherwise no allow upcoming semester.class count is very strictly. so class must attend.

Sometimes extra strictness and following the rules manually irritates the students. And others thing I discussed above point is all positive things. Resident facility, mess facility, 24 hrs computer facility. 18 hrs free WiFI facility.
