Uttarakhand Sanskrit University was established on the 21st of April 2005 by the Government of Uttarakhand in an attempt to propagate Sanskrit and Oriental language and connect them with modern context. Uttarakhand Sanskrit University currently has more 44 colleges affiliated to it with the goal of conservation and promotion oriental education.
The main campus of the university is located on the Delhi National Highway, 15 kilometers from Haridwar City in the Bahadrabad Area.
3.1 How to Apply?
The university offers a variety of diverse modern and oriental courses. It has 5 certificate courses of 6 months, 5 diploma courses of 1 year, 4 undergraduate courses ranging between 1 to 3 years and 12 postgraduate courses of 2 years. The university also offers PhD and MPhil courses in Sanskrit Sahitya (literature).
All applications are based on the merit obtained in the 12th / equivalent qualifying examinations. Applications for all courses are available online.

All candidates are admitted to USVV for all courses on the basis of merit of the respective qualifying examinations.
Candidates applying for PhD will have to appear for the PET (PhD Entrance Test) upon which selection will be made.
Students who have passed the JRC-NET or NET (National Eligibility Test) or SET Uttarakhand (State Eligibility Test) examinations of University Grants Commission or students who hold an M.Phil degree in the concerned subject are exempted from writing the PET and will be selected based on the Personal Interview that will follow.n
Students will be given admission based on the marks scored in their corresponding qualifying examinations. There will be a final personal interview that will determine final selection.

Admission process was very simple you just need to have a graduation in specific degree and follow there terms and conditions no need to do anything in advance you can also apply online but fees has to be submitted offline
The course curriculum is structured very well.The whole BA programme is divided into 6 semesters.Internal marks are given on the basis of class tests and timely submission of assignments and projects.
The course educational program is divided into three years which covers the introduction and basic knowledge of the college. The course is descriptive which makes it quite hectic to develop an understanding of the subjects.
The course educational program and test structure is trailed by the University, the schedule is useful and useful for each understudy, the hypothetical and reasonable investigation is useful to an understudy to take an interest in innovation improvement and it is the fundamental lead for next ages
The course duration was 1 year so the curriculum was designed in a brief but easy for the students to understand. The exams were conducted once a month and most of the days were chill and peaceful. The faculty members made us do research on current topics and made sure we were up to date with all topics.
The programme focus on enhancing the abilities of the student to understand the deeper and meaningful levels of the subject. The curriculum is associated with improving the abilities of the students to understand and implement a given concept. It focuses not just on theory but practical features too.
The course curriculum is a combination of traditional as well as modern beliefs and thinking in order to understand the root level knowledge regarding the subject. The syllabus is designed to give deep level actual meaning of the subject related topics so that students can learn and understand the ethnicity and importance.
Post graduate diploma in yoga is a professional course which has the duration of 1 year and focuses on overall development of the students. The course structure is effective and focuses on lots of practicals. The days are very amazing and exams are not very tiring.
The course curriculum is very apt and satisfactory.The exams are based on semester type and each semester consist of one end term examination which is of three hours. There are two practical subjects in each semester.
The course curriculum includes certain subjects for example ; fundamentals of Yoga, principles of Yoga, human anatomy, Yoga and physical education,Yoga therapy etc. The exam structure of the course is on semester basis. There are seventy marks and semester exams and sessional exam of thirty marks.
