i liked the crowd that my branch have,very friendly in nature
i liked the teachers, as they are very supportive,good at academics aur also some times crack jokes hehe

Dislikes

there is no saturday off, i am so jealous of other college's students
there is not ac in all classrooms, it is deveoping ,maybe in future they will use ac in all classes

Placement Experience:

from third year students are eligible for campus placement as PPO(pre placements offer) mainy companies visits here like HCL,Wipro,TCS, Infosys,etc for getting job into top tech companies, you should have to try off campus placement highest package here is of 58 LPA at Microsoft lowest package is unplaced or 1.2LPA one should maintain cgpa of like 8+

The Academics of college is very strong and college provided many certification program for the student to know how industry work
Well Educated faculty members in college all the faculty members done Masters and most of the faculty members done PhD in relevant subject

Placement Experience:

from Seven Semester Placements starts in my college There are many company visited in my college like CEDCOSS, Step2gen,HCL, Quality Kiosk,Hiremi and many more 51LPA is highest package in microsoft 3.5LPA is Average Package I want to pursue M.Tech after Degree

Dissatisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2019

Infrastructure is good and some facilities are very supportive.
Good ratio of boys to girls almost 1 to 1 ratio

Dislikes

Hostel mess is not good and food is very bad.
Some faculties are less knowledgeable and understanding

Placement Experience:

Placements is not good this time. Average placement of college is 4 to 5 LPA . And this time low placement rate . Only 30% students are placed including campus and off campus placements. But in 2019 the placement was good

The college is having a beautiful campus with good infrastructure
This college includes a basketball court badminton court, thus ,they promote students in a sports

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible from fourth year for campus placements.The company that came previously are tech Mahindra, hinduja etc the students gets an average package of 4-5 lakh.my plans are to get a high paying IT sector job

In my college placements this year aprox 65% overall students of computer science and engineering in campus placement i my college placements will be starting from 7 semesters where students are participating in campus placement

Likes

Green campus, sports facilities and all the teachers are so senior
The senior network that you get here makes it way better than other colleges

Dislikes

Regular class test , assignment gives much less time to students
High academic pressure on student and if you get low marks in class teachers will assign extra classes to you

Placement Experience:

Training and placements cell of this college and the teachers are really good , as of now mostly students placed on service based companies but product based companies also come and students also crack them but the number is low.

The college fees is very affordable due To which I prefered this college over the others.
The overall environment of college is very pleasant and there is no culture of bad addiction throughout the Campus.

Dislikes

The college is very strict for attendance.
There are very less number of holidays throughout the year,even in most of festivals the college get opened.

Placement Experience:

There is no such good placement in this college. Only few small cap companies come in college and also they don't offer any tech role they mostly offer entry level marketing roles to the students. The frequently visiting companies are : Rinex Intellipat And few more small caps . Only the final year students are eligible to sit in placements.

The campus is big. And the selection is through UPTU now. So students with good percentile only get admission.
Girls to boys ratio is less. There are around 70 girls and 350 boys.

Dislikes

The management and cleanliness of classrooms.

Placement Experience:

There is a training and Placement cell in our college that manages the on campus placements that happen. The highest package goes upto 20lakh per annum and minimum is 5 lakh per annum. Overall around 400 students get placed.

Review of Gniot college during 2020-24 (average college but improving)

I liked the less pressure on students for attendance at that time.
The teaching of some teachers as they are almost same in every college who keep just switching to one another.

Dislikes

Placements were less for our batch it was around 10 percent only.
There is no mass hiring in our college like tcs, cognizant these don't visit

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always influenced by CSE due to software industry, and this course prepared us for a root of the technology. the improvement should be that they should include coding and practical learning more, the exams were held every month and difficulty was easy to medium level

Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University isn’t a good option for pursuing technical courses. The curriculum followed by the institute is outdated. You will only learn the theoretical aspects of engineering. It doesn’t offer the practical hands-on experience students require to excel in the technical field.

Most students usually get placed in the IT sector, irrespective of their branches. The highlights of recent AKTU placements show the average package offered by the institute to be around INR 2-3 LPA.
