I feel LMNIIT CSE is a much better choice than NIT Agartala CSE provided that you have the financial means to get admission there. Batch Strength: The total number of students at LNMIIT is less than 600, so the competition will be less in this college. Placements: The placement scenario of this college is excellent. Top companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Oyo, Uber visit the campus for placements. Samsung is a mass recruiter in this college and has offered packages of more than 13 lakhs per annum. According to the recent placement highlights the average and highest CTC offered to the students are 12 LPA and 58 LPA respectively. Students also perform well in off-campus placements. Workshops: There are various kinds of workshops such as GSoC, mun, and many cultural and technical fests organized in the college. Reservations: There are no reservations or state quotas for admission. Coding Culture: The campus has a good coding culture. The fee structute as follow At present 3 lakh is a semester fee and after every year there is a high chance of increment of 10 percent Out of 3 lakh total mess + hostel charges are around 52 k which include electricity also rest is tution fees Caution mobey of 10 k is been taken once during admission which will be reture after the end of the course Fees is similar for all branches and cateogries as admission is strictly done on merit basis There are quite a few scholarahip like 1.) On merit basis like 20 - 30 k for some cg criteria of 9.3 or 9.5above 2.) For economically backward and meritorious girl 3.) Student with only one parent which is not the earning person of family or orphan student Significant percentage of fees is been waived off for the 2nd and 3rd scholarship ( around 60 percent you can check it on official website of LNMIIT) Scholarshio names are like merit cum means, bpl scholarship etc.

Year wise fees is approximately 6 lakhs and 10 percent tentative every year .There is no reservations so fees is same for each and every student.There are scholarship like When you got cg above 9 and kind of BPL scholarship and LUSIP scholarship..

Student Snaps:

The year wise fees is 450000 INR at the start of your first year with a 10% increment every year. The total fees all inclusive will be 2156000 INR. Tuition fees is close to 18.5L from that, admission fees will be 25000 taken at the time of counselling. It is a refundable amount. No Reservation is there in the campus. There are three kinds of scholarships, BPL, JEEAdvance Rank <12k and 9.25CGPA+. The latter two get a 25k discount on fees semester-wise.

1st year experience of LNMIIT

I paid an overall of 6 lakh rupees including tution,hostel,mess fee. The tuition fees was 2.35 lakhs per semester and it increases by 10% every year. The caution fee is 10,000 which is refundable . The registration fee is 3000. The development fee and lab fee was not mentioned while paying. Their is no reservation in this college so the fees is same for all. Mcm scholarship - Some students can get a scholarship of upto 50% of tuition fee if they have jee advanced air upto 12,000 or jee main percentile of above 97 and the parental income should be below 5 lacs per annum. Second semester onwards you need 8.5 cgpa or more to continue this scholarship. Merit scholarships - top 20 rankers (upto 5000 rank,gen)in jee advanced. Amount is upto 35,000 per sem. Next top 20 (upto 12000 rank) . Amount is upto 30000 per sem. 2nd sem onwards you need 9.81-10 cgpa for 35000. 9.51-9.8 for 30000 Bpl scholarships - 1st sem not applicable 2nd sem onwards 6 cgpa or more with no backlogs.

Life in lnmiit

The academics of college is tough , scoring in exams is not easy, teaching method of professors are not good.

In first year I pay total 5,95,000 which consist of 4,50,000 of tuition fees and 100000 for hostel and mess charges and 45000 for other medical , maintanence, charges . All the batch mates pay same fees that I pay. College provide scholarship for those students who get high sgpa in each semester such as if any student score 9.25 sgpa then student got scholarship of 25000 and if student got 9.43 or above sgpa then he got 30000 as scholarship and if student score 9.59 or more sgpa then he got 35000 scholarship.

Decent college with not so decent fees

I took admission in 2024 with a starting fee of around 6 lac which will increase at 10 % every year so the total fee for i will pay for my undergraduate degree will be 27 - 28 lac including every other charges like hostel, mess, maintenance ,security etc.All students pay the same fee regardless of their category and there is no reservation criteria in the college ,all are treated as general candidates . There are two types of scholarships- merit based and the other income based . Merit based scholarships: For gpa >=9 to 9.25 a scholarship of 25000 will be given from 9.5 even greater scholarship would be given i dont know the exact amountas brochure for year 2025 hasn't come yet .

The timetable to study is very flexible. I can attend lectures and still have enough time to do my presonal learning and interships.
Our minor degree helps us have a plus point during placement. Also ,we are going to have setup drone lab, supercomputing lab, and Cyber security lab.
The environment, and the implementation of NEP2020, this has resulted in we getting a curricular that is different that Pune and Mumbai university. We have minor degrees taught in AR/VR, management, and also embedded system. This gives us a pus point

General category- 160000 per year OBC category- 100000 per year SC/ST Category- 35000-40000 per year under the free education act for girls our tution fees is 0 so now all girls with family income less than 8lakh have to pay only 35000-50000 per year also, our college provides extra scholorships by Katalyst, and smile foundation which are really beneficial. As they provide financial aswell as councilling and laptops. Over all the ecosystem is good even for the ones underprivilidged the college offers special scholorship

LNMIIT: Should You Go?

The total fees for the program over 4 years is Rs 26 Lakh. The fees breakup is not constant as the tution fees increases by 10% every year. There are no reservations or quotas. The scholarship is offered to top JEE rankers in the first semester and then in the further semesters, according to the CGPA.
