Maharaja Ganga Singh University (MGSU) offers a wide range of courses at the UG, PG, and Doctorate levels. MGSU M.Phil & Ph.D. Admission 2024
The minimum eligibility for M.Phil and Ph.D. courses is a pass in PG degree in the relevant discipline with 55% marks in aggregate. Admission is granted on the basis of a valid MPCET score (minimum 36% marks) followed by an interview. MPCET is the departmental entrance test conducted by the respective departments of MGSU.
Shortlisted students have to visit the Directorate of Research of MGSU in person with a DD of INR 3000 along with relevant marksheet and certificates.

MGSU M.Phil & Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility requirement for admission to M.Phil/ Ph.D programs of MGSU Bikaner is a postgraduate degree in a relevant course with at least 50% marks.
MGSU M.Phil & Ph.D. Selection Criteria
For admission to M.Phil and Ph.D courses, candidates will be selected on the basis of score of Combined Entrance Test (MPCET) followed by Interview
Pre-Ph.D. Research Work: Candidates admitted to the Ph.D. program need to complete a coursework of 6 months duration. Those candidates who will secure at least 45% marks in the coursework will be considered eligible for final Ph.D. registration.
Key Points:
- There will be only one paper for each subject for the entrance test. The test will consist of 100 MCQs where each question carries the value of 1 marks. For every wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted. The duration of the entrance test will be 2 hours.
- The question paper will be in both English and Hindi for subjects other than languages. For science subjects, the question paper will be in English only.
- The Test will carry 100 marks. Merit will be drawn on the basis of combined marks obtained by the candidates in the Entrance Test followed by an interview.

Admission process was not so much easy for all the students. Firstly you must take a exam for the course than your cut off will decide your college for the education. But my experience was good i applied for a college and in first councelling i received the college.

- The building of the college is too old. The benches was old too .

For admission in college, I had applied for five colleges, Dungar College in Bikaner and Government College in Suratgarh which was allotted to me and I had to take train for the facility and commuting to Suratgarh PG College.The facility of travelling by train is also good. Auto rickshaws are easily available through buses and there is no problem in travelling and overall we students get a good experience during exam time.There is no lack of any kind of facility, every kind of facility is available here. Sometimes children may face problems related to bus but almost all the facilities are very good.

I chose this college because it is very close to my home and the facility of coming here by bus and train is very easy and the facility here is very good and every type of education is available in this college.This is the most suitable college for all the children at low cost and with low expenses. Here students do not have to face much difficulty for admission. It has sports facilities and CCTV facilities too.
