The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

Likes

The infrastructure is too good. There are so opportunities for the students for there personal and academic development.
The faculty is bit supportive and very well educated
The placement is also decent. The collage organizes events on regular basis.

Dislikes

Campus life is too hectic for the day scholars.
Some teachers teaching style is not good.
There is not such advancement in the curriculum of course compare to industry standards.

The ampus placement is decent . Students can apply for placement after 3 year. Flipcart, tcs, Infosys, IBM etc companies visited campus for placememts. The average pacage is 4-5 lac and the highest package is 50 lac. 65% of student placed in campus placement.

Truth about Chitkara University

Likes

Placement of the universty is pretty good number of companies visiting are huge .
Faculty is nice they are encouraging and helpful
There are lot of events organised by the university in every occasion or celebrations.

Dislikes

There is sports facilities but the sports events are not properly organised by the sports department very few most of them by are organised by sports club .
Free time during academic hours is very less
According to me the crowd is a lot here the amount of education I can get is more but due to more number of students I can’t get it fully.

Placement Experience:

From the 6 or 7 semester you are eligible to apply for placements and the number of companies are lot more than 100 .top recuriters are tcs ,infosys,wipro etc highest package offered in my presence was 60 lakhs and average of 6 lakhs most of the students get placed approx 90% get placed it all depends upon cgpa you are scoring.

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
