I choose Food Technology because I find interesting and different from another courses. Food technology is growing field nationally and internationally. Also you have losts of opportunities and good career internationally I want suggest in teaching process you have to teach more practical knowledge. Because in future during the internship most of the time waste to understand the process. Easy to crack
I always wanted to be an entrepreneur, and guess what sector in India is the most profitable? It's food! We can't keep raw food for many days hence preservation of that food is most important. Food is one need that is never gonna end. That's why I choose to take this course. In this college faculty members are really good and supportive. Most of the teachers over here are PhD-completed teachers. Every student in this college gets a personal advisor and that advisor helps him/ her throughout the course. In this college we have two exams in one semester, one is a midterm and another is a term exam. Midterm exams don't have practical exams but term exams do have practical exams and viva. The level of exams is moderate. Well, difficulties depend on how you study though.
It is one of the oldest food technology colleges in Asia also it having limited seats with brilliant and experienced faculties, most are doctorate. Faculty to student ratio is around 1:15. And exams were taken timely with moderate difficulty level.
The faculty of this college is highly qualified. Because of gov. Institute the staff is selected according to their qualification, every teacher is Ph.D. completed. And they help students to improve all skills Mid Terms exams taken two months after college start and final exams after five-month. The classrooms and exam halls are facilitated with CCTV cameras.
I'm studying in such a course ie. Food Technology. This is one of the branch of engineering. The syllabus of this course is updated related to the standard of food business and industries. The faculty involved are many but I think the production faculty is good , to get experience and knowledge.
