HBNI Mumbai Admission
- Admission in HBNI, Mumbai is based on the marks obtained in the last qualification and written test conducted by the institute or based on the entrance merit for some required courses.
- In the case of written test merit, the list is prepared by the selection board of HBNI, and selected students are informed for the group interviews and further process.
- For the courses such as M.D, the NEET PG merit rank is considered for the selection of the applicants.

The aspirants need to follow the following steps for the process of application:
- The admission process is completed offline.
- The application form of admission is available in the campus office or can be downloaded from the official website.
- Students need to fill up the application with valid details along with phone number and email id. The aspirants are required to attest photocopies of the last qualification and research proposal if required.
- Students need to submit the application form along with DD of INR. 5,000/-
- The filled application and DD must be submitted to the campus office through the postal address.

HBNI, Mumbai provides excellent placement for all PG courses along with Doctoral courses. The industrial visit organized with the Campus of HBNI and campus of other constituent institutes helps the student to develop research understanding through real-life projects.
The placement highlights of the session 2018-2019 are given below:
- 1 Year PG programs: All 60 students got placed with a median salary of 1008000 LPA.
- 2 Years Programs: 49 students out of 54 got placed with a median salary of 1040000 LPA.

- The campus is beautiful and serene, has an open meditation centre on a hilltop, it's the landmark. Infrastructure is state of art
- Sports facilities have improved a lot, basketball and lawn tennis courts are available too

- It's a science based course. If you change your mind later on to exit academia, it's hard to find other options
- Placement cell has just been setup, with companies like mpharma visiting, but ofc they prefer PhD candidates over MSc

Admission is through NEST (National entrance screening test), forms are out in feb/ march, exam is conducted in June (once a year), has questions from maths, biology, physics and chemistry (best scores of three are considered), seats are reserved as per category

Admission process is quite streamlined with a separate exam being conducted for the entry into the institute. You have to qualify NEST exam to get admission to this college. You can get the admission form from the NISER website. You must cross the cut-off along with smas cut-off. Reservation is there according to central rules. The admission process is very neat and clean.

Admission is based on the NEST examination. You can find it by searching the NISER website. Reservation is available for obs sc st and PWD. The exam is a lengthy exam of 3.5 hours having a sectional cut-off system means you have to score a min mark in each subject to be on the merit list.

We have to give a national entrance screening test (NEST), conducted in CBT mode, through this exam applicants can also apply for CEBS, we have to clear cut off of PCMB subjects and the best of 3 marks will be considered for the final rank to get a seat in NISER. NISER is an autonomous research institute that does research with atomic energy. Our earth is the great source of atomic power that needs to be explored. So, integrated B.Sc-M.Sc course is necessary for doing better about earth science. Admission is cleared through the entrance exam of NEST and the selection is based on the gained score.

The college was built in 2007 and is affiliated with Homi Bhabha National Institute,Mumbai. Having autonomous status is another great thing in the college's achievements. Admissions to the college are based upon the NEST score of applicants & counselling round.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course curriculum is very flexible. You have option to choose courses of your interest and thus develop your skills in more directional way. But works best if you have a good cpi in your juniour years. Because, due to limited seats in any course, preference will always be given to students with higher CPI, doesn't matter how much interest you have in it. Sports facilities are very good, well maintained. Musical instruments are also available in music rooms so that you can learn a new instrument.
