Yeah it's very good for class room is great and lab is workable we have onam programs and xmas, arts day, sports day, youth festival, freshers day its good there is two clubs nss and nature club and good friends
The attitude of the teachers were very rude but their way of teaching is very nice and we can easily score good marks in the exams.
The college have job placements in channels like asianet, and have some institutes like brilliant, also the channel karikku.we have internships at newschannels and other institutes and may get permanent jobs if they like our work.

Dislikes

Facilities are very bad theory is no very good infrastructure facilities provided
The distance from hostel to department is too large and its so difficult to walk
It's a very poor system that's made to waste the time of students as they cram everything from practicals and theory, leaving no space for real life applications .

An Honest review on my college MBCCET

very nice cold climate. the college life feels like a vacation. the people here are really nice. teachers are good. hostel food is good
supports students to conduct events or join events instead of always spending time in class to get real world experience
good guidance from principals , placement officer and department teachers

Dislikes

hostel building: the buildings are old and it was'nt maintained well except first years until recently. rooms had graffiti which was done by senior students. thankfully they're doing a good job now
less girls and more boys , in my class (S7 CSE in the time of writing) there are 12girls and 52 boys. thankfully the male to female ratio is good for juniors.
there is a building in campus which has been under construction for almost a decade now but they had to stop it mid way. it would've been good if they completed it as the college is planning on adding more departments from this year

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are decent. getting placed in a big company is more about having the technical and soft skills to pass the interviews. the placement training helps us develop soft skills but the technical skills must be developed ourselves.

The college strictly concentrate on academic side of the student. And no other skills are developed comparatively. Space for co curriculum activities are poor.
Students in the campus are quite disciplined. Uniformity is maintained well. The students are strictly trained to be professionals .
The campus provide more like school atmosphere than a college

Dislikes

There is no space for personal development and skill development .
Teachers are more into academic forced and books related.
The campus is small and there is no place to explore

The college provide sports meet annually and college day , ethnic day and other important days. The programmes are quite students oriented and its not effective to all the students. Only the students talented get chances. Exams are conducted regularly and results are published on times

Infrastructure is great with well equiped and modern lab facilities
One of the best Library in Kerala which provide access to several hundred thousand books, journals, research article and more
Hostel mess is well planned and overall good compared other colleges

Dislikes

Class timing is from 9 am to 4/5 pm, which is one of the worst timing for a PG student.
Doesnt fully utilize the level of expertise of the faculties with Phd, as the college tends to assign them for quality assurance
Its a College with unnecessary school kind-of policies which can discourage the students from learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum are updated bi-annually, which is a great thing as it keeps the subjects relevant to the industry standards. The semesters can become quite hectic after the first internals as each subjects have 2 components. The timing to submit both is close.

Companies like Federal Bank, Deloitte mostly offered. Since we had no placements, iam focusing currently on content creation and writing, actively working with online media due to my creative interest.

All about Baselius College Kottayam

Main thing I liked about the college is it is situated in the heart of Kottayam so the town provides many facilities like hospitals, supermarkets and shopping complexes etc..so it is much helpful for hostel based students and everyone
Then I liked my commerce department comparing to other departments because the faculties and facilities in there are pretty good ,also they conducts many events and commerce fests which makes the college life enjoyable
Also there's some programs not many. But the college fest was amazing

Dislikes

The main thing I disliked about my college is there's no much events or programs, the management is slightly strict so they didn't allow us to conduct any programs.
Second thing is about the college ambience. It is a small campus situated in the town so there's not much place to relax with friends and to chill.
Also there's not much enough time to study for the exams , when one exam is over there will be no gaps for the next exam.

The students become eligible for campus placements in there 6th semester during 3rd year. The students has to score highest grades and should be capable of any skills and has to showed up in academic skills are eligible for getting placements. Sometimes the federal banks and other service centres approached the college for placing the students. The students from our department are placed in companies like( Tata Consultancy services and Accenture) . I think the highest package and average packages are around 25000. After all, my plans are degree is to getting placed in any reputed companies and further more.

My College Experience : The Ups and Downs

There teacher's positive and friendly behaviour is very good.
this college providing college bus. and final year students are travelling without fee.
In this college, studentrs can interact all persons. Becouse this college is staying in a village.

Dislikes

In this college there no canteen facility.So students are want to go outside stores
The Private bus are not on time. Similarly, the raiway gate will be closed for half an hour due to the passing of the train.
library is not open every days and collection of books is very poor.

Placement Experience:

The eligibility semester may vary, but generally , students in their 5th or 6th semester are considered for campus placements. Companies like Amazon, flipkart,HDFC, and others visit the campus to recruit eligible students. the highest salary package offered to a student ffrom KMM Institute of Technology and Science was 7 lakh per annum. the average salary package for students was 5 lakh per annum. The percentage of students getting placement is above 50%. After my degree, I want to go higher studies (MBA) at KMM COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCE ,THRIKKAKARA.

the teachers were the best you would be getting from our college
fee structure was fair in comparison to other universities
there are sports quota for a good athlete

Dislikes

the exam structure was very bad there was a time in my 2nd year were I had to write 3 semster exams almost closely only having a 2 month gap for each exam
if you have a supply in any semester and if you give revaluation for the paper then the result will only come on the same day or day before you are writing your supplementary examinations
the result of your final year comes faster than the time allotted for revaluation

Placement Experience:

In our college, there were placements, but it was fewer than the time before COVID-19, and many of the students planned to continue their studies after their graduation. So the companies were fewer for our college, but some of the prominent companies that came to our college were Infopark, Mathlab and Tata, etc, and more startups. Mathlab's placement interview was mainly for math graduates with a bit of knowledge about computers. If not, there is no worry because only after 6 months of training will we be placed, so we can learn in the training sessions. And one of the most important things was whether the students wanted to continue their studies. There was a course provided by the company, so we could work, and on weekends, we could take the course, which helped us in our promotions. For me, I am planning to continue my studies silently.ie, I am preparing for my post-graduation in another field following the same base.

Hill top college, and near by a church it is very positive energy to us

That time canteen is not there .thats a big problem to us
They more concentrate in studies, not encourage arts and sports especially botany department
Walking distance is too much, because it is a hill top college

Actually iam a diploma holder, after that course i choose a dgree, thats it. Teacher's can more friendly with students, they can encourage all activities. Some department focused on only studies and Rank. Monthly exams is a good choice to achieve students goal.

Good teaching staff with high qualification who are very engaging and motivating .They didn't teach solely the syllabus but also other practices one should observe in acourt room.They are very willing to clear the doubts at any time of the day.

The moot court competitions and debate competitions are conducted many times in a year which are very useful for a law student.I wish if there are more interested college competitions then it would be more useful.Usually there is a gap of six months between two exams and during that period students get enough time for preperation.

The canteen and the office staff behaviour are not interested a good manner with a ego behaviour
The campus has less placement drives even a company which has less LPA comes and there the core company's are too less amount only 1 or 2 are coming
