Timings of classes during summer should be changed as it is so hot here during summer

Placement Experience:

From the last or 8th semester, students become eligible for placement. Big agricultural companies come to take campus placements. Highest annual package is 6 to 7 lakh per annum. Me after completing the degree, gonna apply for pursuing MBA in Agriculture and enter the business line.

Campus atmosphere and luxurious greenery and carefree atmosphere.
Peaceful and calm place with lot of space and fitness centre

Dislikes

Extreme climate especially during summer season.
No shops or urgent facilities are nearby

Placement Experience:

4 th year students are eligible for campus placement. KPPL, Cadbury and several companies or institutions call for temporary placement offers. 1Lpa is the highest offer i know. Mainly students opt for pg and only some opt for jobs as this is a professional course. Either doing PG or doing studies abroad will be better option.

I have liked my course because of its exposure towards the farmers.I have enjoyed my campus life
I have liked the hostel facilities and ground facilities.

Dislikes

I didn't like the exams as there are so many of them
During online time our university was careless and our 3 months were wasted.

Placement Experience:

From semester 7, students will be eligible for campus placement.There is banks like IDBI bank which confucted an open interview for KAU students .More percentage of students are getting placed.I have decided to do post graduation after degree.

Quality of education that our faculties provide.
Our campus is so beautiful spread across 99acres.

Dislikes

Our college is in a village. Transportation creates issues.
Management seats and the students spoil the results.

Placement Experience:

Placement is there from the 6th semester onwards. From 6th semester onwards students get placement. Mother Dairy, coromandel seed fertilizers, and Maharashtra hybrid seed companies are the companies giving placement. 40 to 45% of students get placement. Agriculture research scientist, food safety application engineer.

Placement Experience:

Federal bank, SBI, Rallis, VFPCKetc visited the campus for placement drives. Around 10 to 20% students are getting placed every year. Most of the agricultural graduates are placed in government sector than private sector. There is a placement cell working in the campus to prepare students for placement season.

Internships Opportunities:

National and international seminars are held here every year on various subjects. Internship under NGO, krushibhavan, SHG and banks are provided for the last year degree students everyyear. Opportunity abroad are also notified by career guidance cell

The university is beautiful you can explore many places
Hostels facilities are good and are cleaned daily

Dislikes

Its too hot during the summer season and many have suffered sun burns
Water availability during the summer is the main issue for the past years and the water from filters have different taste

Internships Opportunities:

Last years have to do an internship about 2 months and you do the stipend . Internships can be done in kerala or outside there many companies offering internship. you can do do your internship in place like trivandrum, kochi , thrissur, etc. they are high reputed companies.

In final year there is training at cooperation institution and also stipend is paid,also project work at final year should be completed under guidance of mentor which is also paid. Various oppertunities to visit various institutions during all India study tour.

There are companies which offer various internship programmes in agriculture based programmes. CIMMYT,IARI Etc gives good internship opportunities. Students are recruited for internship under various research programmes under this institutions.
