IISc Bangalore BTech Eligibility Criteria
Students must have cleared class XII or equivalent from a recognized board with the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, a language, and any subject other than the above four.
IISc Bangalore Admission 2024
IISc Bangalore B.Tech admission process starts with submission of online applications, followed by selection on the basis of JEE Advanced score and allocation of seats to candidates. There are total 3 stages for completing admission process-
Stage 1) Filling of application form: Candidates are required to fill the application form available on the official website https://admissions.iisc.ac.in/ and upload the required documents in the accepted format along with submission of application fee.
Stage 2) Updation of application form: Applicants need to update their application form on the portal within 48 hours after declaration of JEE Advanced ranks.
Stage 3) Allocation of seats: Candidates having a valid JEE Advanced rank will be allotted seats as per the decision taken by the concerned authorities.

IISc Bangalore BTech Application Process 2024
Applications for IISc BTech program are to be submitted online through the IISc Online Admission Portal. If you are new to the portal, you must register first and then login again for form filling. After filling all the personal details, the system will send a spam mail to confirm the registered mail id. After this, to complete the application process, the system will ask you to upload the following documents:
- Passport photo image file
- Signature image file
- Category certificate as PDF fil for applicants in the SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS categories
- Relevant certificates as PDF filefor applicants in PwDand KM categories
- Details of your 10th and 12th standard schooling,marks and key subjects.
- Details of all under-graduate degrees, post-graduate degrees, and diplomas that you have completed, including marks for each semester/term, cumulative marks, official rank if available, and key subjects you have taken.
Last step involved in the application process is the online fee payment. Application fee charged by IISc Bangalore for the BTech program is as follows:
