- XAT 2025 Registration is open at xatonline.in for admission to MBA/ PGDM courses. The last date to register for XAT 2025 is November 30, 2024. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on January 5, 2025.
Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management was established in the year 2012. It is deemed to be a university and is accredited by NAAC 'A++' Grade. It has 3 campuses at Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Bangalore.
GITAM, Bangalore comprises three schools - School of Technology, School of Business, School of Science. The university offers BBA, B.Tech., MBA, M.Tech., B.Sc., M.Sc. B.Com.(Hons.), M.Phil. and Doctoral courses in various disciplines.
Admission to MBA is done on the basis of scores in GAT/ CAT/ NMAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ XAT or MAT followed by Personal Interview and Group Discussion respectively. Admission will be made through the entrance exam (GITAM Online Test) conducted by the school.
Candidates who have completed B.Tech/ B.E are eligible to apply for M.Tech courses. Admissions to the B.Tech course will be based on the candidate's score in GAT conducted by the university.
Applicants who have obtained an HSC certificate can apply for admission to UG courses.

Candidates will be admitted to M.Tech courses based on their scores in GAT. For admission to PG programs in Management School, candidates must possess Bachelors in any stream from a recognized institute.
Candidates should have M.E. / M.Tech degree in the concerned discipline for the Ph.D. program. For Ph.D., candidates will have to appear for the entrance exam by GITAM.
Applications for admissions in GITAM have to be submitted either online or offline depending upon the college.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission, the candidates must possess a 10+2 qualification with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics with 60% aggregate marks.
GITAM University Bangalore B.Tech. Selection Criteria
Admissions will be based on the candidate's score in GITAM Admissions Test (GAT). GAT will be for the duration of two hours. The test will be for 400 marks (100 questions). All the questions will be in the Multiple Choice Questions form.
Subject wise distribution of the questions is tabulated below:
- Mathematics: 40
- Physics: 30
- Chemistry: 30
Note- 25% of seats in GAT will be reserved for brilliant students of Karnataka state for admission at the Bengaluru campus. Direct admission will be offered to all central & state board toppers.
Admission to the B.Tech. program is also granted on the basis of JEE Main, COMEDK scores.

- One of the highlights of my collage is its infrastructure,which includes facilities for various sports,well-maintained courts for students to use.
- Gender ratio-60:40(boys to girls) at my college is approx. 60:40

- Although the infrastructure is generally good, the -first year physics and chemistry labs are not good
- The faculty at my college is mixed in terms of quality.Some professors,particularly in core subjects,are good offering indept knowledge

I applied for PES from Pesat but i got ECE there I didnt go because I was intersed in cse. I came to this collage from kcet I got 48k rank but the cutoff was 58k in the year 2023. I was unable to go there because my pesat rank was bad.

- The things mostly I liked is my college and they people here are very good and the way of talking is very good , the hostel food is very good over here they prepare more varieties day by day and they made special food very festival and the cultural.

- The things I disliked is some of the colleges rules and there is cultural over here and the college is far away from the Banglore and there is cab ,Rapido facility over there and students need to go too far to buy some things and there is hard way to

I also liked other colleges but our college is best but comparing to other colleges the other collges are in the middle of the city and our college is in far way from the city we are so facing difficulty to buy things

- The staff were very good, the food at the gitam was very very good.

- Constant changes in academic curriculum which makes it hard to cope up
- Few unexperienced faculty which makes the students to loose interest in that particular subject

Campus Life 3 The encouragement from sports club is pretty good We can play and choose any sports They help 2 to 3 fests every year with shore fest being the best The clubs aren't that good as it's all connection based politics Classroom facilities are average as there is no ac for some of the classes i attend that's the only disappointment

I chose this college because of only one reason that is money fees. This clg has the lowest fees out of all colleges in banglore and is havibv a big campus with so many opportunities and really good climte too

I have Applied for Amritha university but I didn't get the seat there because of the results of entrance exam . So I joined GITAM UNIVERSITY as I got a scholarship there of 25 percent and fee structure is also less compared to Amritha

- In our college there are many events conducted like nss events and ncc events like plant exhibition and food donations.we enjoy a lot in this events and there are many more events which are conducted by others team they are e club and kalakriti team
- There we enjoy a lot .People and the students there perform various types of activities like singing, dancing and many more .And we have celebrated kargil Vijay divas also and the tribute.we have learnt many new things here and we overcome our fears.
Dislikes
- And more often the dislikes of the college is very less because I find this college very interesting and I feel around some dislike is about the cgpa and the marks that all depends on us . If we focus then we get the good cgpa and if we don't we dont
- We may get less cgpa .But sem by sem the exam pattern is changing very drastically. That makes us feel tensed about the cgpa but if we focus it doesn't matter to us but as going to the higher sem we may feel like getting good cgpa would be perfect.

I have many other colleges but I preferred only this college. Because I came to the college before the admission and i took a look over the ambience and environment.I personally loved the campus and it's environment.
Likes
- I would say that the college infrastructure,study plan for the academic.
- When it comes to the security things it takes the first place for giving security to girls.
Dislikes
- The events here are very less. Though events take place they all must be paid.
- The exam pattern will be changed every year.
Admission:
Admission process here is very easy and very fast.As for why I chose this college over other colleges is that,here the facilities are more.we can explore here more and the main thing is we don't get spoilt and we don't get into some unlawful things.
Likes
- My campus life was being good with my friends we participate at activities
- Some of the Faculty was not up to mark they have the knowledge but they don't know how to make the student understand
Dislikes
- There is no enough company are comming for the recurment
- They are helping professional development like soft skills
Admission:
I applied for different collage exams because I don't depends on only on M-sets so I applied for other college in the other college the culture of the student is different from my college but my college I taken review from the psass out student
Likes
- The First thing I liked about the college is extraordinary environment and infrastructure.
- And we have very big playground to play all kind of games and activities
Dislikes
- College is outside the city it's very problematic to go home and come to college
- The college is big and we have to walk very long distance to our rooms even though there are some shortcurts we can't use them mangement don't allow to use them
Admission:
The reason I choose this college is because of best placements and senior who studied in this college and also applied for other universities in hydarabad like anurag,and gokaraju gangaraju colleges yes I got rejected in anurag University because of my marks the college need more than 90 percent in 12 class.about addmission in our college we can apply through online and the student who will get below 3000 rank in exam they will get scholorship
