We have mid sems and end sems in a semester with three months gaps. We have guest lectures in between as well to discuss the practical aspects of the curriculum. They also take the students for site visits and conferences for outside learning. We have 4 CIAs cumulative internal assessment. Two assignments and the two exams in a semester. You can always reappear for the exam missed but have to complete the arrears to get promoted
I choose this course because I want to explore this course and was having a great interest in our Indian constitution and want to know about Indian and foreign laws. For every subject, you get a faculty and all the faculty are very helpful and supportive you can contact them without hesitation. According to my, there is 1 faculty with over 15 students. Most of the faculty members are phd in their subject and their teaching method is also too good but yes one can face the problem of language because most of the faculty use English language only they do not teach in Hindi which might be problematic for some students. There is 2 sem in 1 year and in every semester there is 3 CIA and 1 end sem exam.
I had chosen this course because I had a keen interest in politics and law I love to read love books and like to improve my researching analysis skills A faculty to student ratio is 1:40 which is not all bad The qualification of the teachers are are Ph.D. most of the teachers had completed their PHD some of the teachers teaching method is very minimalistic and interactive whereas some teachers are not so much interactive they just come and read about the topics. In my previous semester I had exams categorised by CIA1 is of 20 marks and is easy to pass in this teachers give us research ham projects. CIA2 also know as mid semester exams is of 50 marks which is hard to pass CIA3 is also like CIA1 And end semester exams are of 50 marks due to the pandemics situation the pattern is very tough and hard to pass
I have always wanted to become a lawyer and have been excellent at drafting and possess oratory skills, which is essential for a lawyer. The faculty-student ratio is 1:60 in each class. The faculties require a minimum LLM to be an Assistant Professor and have a PHD to be an Associate Professor, making them qualified and smart enough to teach the students and handle them well. The teaching method includes teaching with presentations, current events, etc. You will never feel bored in class. Christ is known for its punctuality. The exam were never a minute apart from the scheduled time. It is not difficult to pass, but extremely difficult to get above 60% as the highest marks are 75%.
Very strict college, colleges need to understand we are adults nows and must trust us enough to be more lenient. Good faculty. Great curriculum but should involve less theory and More practical knowledge.
The course I am doing is BBA.LL.B (HONS) . The course is specially designed for students who interests in law and mainly to those who want to go in the corporate field. the subjects and electives are according to that. you will have both law subjects and nonlaw subjects like management, business communication, accounting, etc. the nonlaw subjects are there only for the first two years. the law school gives you a variety of opportunities to sharpen your skills through having different societies and committees, competitions like moots, advocacy, mediation, negotiation as well as encourages your to develop your research and writing skills. you will also have access to a huge library and other online resources. the faculties are very helpful and good.
Expensive. The mode of payement is online transaction and the college would accept any other form of transaction or cash.I feel the fees to be a little ecpensive but the college provides enough facilities and services worth the fees we pay if one make use of thos facilities
