Nilamber Pitamber University was established on January 17, 2009 in Medininagar Palamau under the provision of State legislation and Jharkhand State University Act, 2000. At present, 4 constituent colleges, 8 affiliated colleges, 2 engineering, 1 dental and 2 education colleges are governed by the Nilamber Pitamber University (NPU).

Nilamber Pitamber university (NPU) offers various undergraduate and post graduate programs like BDS, MDS, B.Tech, M.Tech, BA, MA, M.Sc, B.Sc, B.Ed, B.Com, M.Com etcAdmission to all the UG and PG courses at NPU is based on merit of the last qualifying exam. For Ph.D courses, admission is done on the basis of merit as well as GATE, NET, SLET score. Students with M.Phil degree & experience in the relevant field will be given preference at the time of admission.

Admissions to the above said courses will be done on the basis of student’s performance in JCECE, NEET & JEE Main examination conducted at the national level.
For candidates belonging to SC/ST community a relaxation of 5% marks shall be given in the minimum eligibility marks.

Nilamber Pitamber university BDS & MDS Admission 2024

Vananchal Dental College & Hospital has been approved by Dental Council of India affiliated to NPU. Admission to the B.D.S Program is done on the basis of Score obtained in JCECE or NEET Entrance examination.

Application Process:

JCECE Application Form can be obtained in online mode only.
The online application form for JCECE can be obtained from the official website.
The application fee for PCB group is INR 900 for General/BC-I/BC-II category while it is INR 450 for SC/ST/Female candidates.

Application form can be obtained from the college counter on payment of INR 500 through cash as application fee

Nilamber Pitamber university B.Tech & M.Tech Admission 2024

Admissions into B.Tech courses are done through the Central Admission Committee and Entrance Examination JEE (E&M) conducted by the Government of Jharkhand and All India JEE (Main). In addition, 20% of the intake capacity in each branch of B.Tech courses is filled up on lateral entry basis in the third semester.

Admission to M.Tech is through PGAT examination conducted by the Government of Jharkhand. Preference will be given to students with good GATE score.

Nilamber Pitamber university LL.B Admission 2024

NPU offers admission in LL.B Part-I, a 3 year program. Application form can be obtained from the BNS Law College on payment of INR 500 through cash or DD in the favor of BNS Law College, Payable at Daltonganj. Application form. Duly filled application form can be submitted along with the DD by post with self-address envelope on any working day.

Nilamber Pitamber university UG Admission 2024: BA, B.Sc, B.Com & B.Ed

NPU offers a wide range of undergraduate courses under various specialization. Candidates seeking admission in B.Ed programme have to appear in an entrance exam known as Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) followed by an interview conducted by the NPU.

The finalized merit list will be declared based on the summation of the marks of the top four subjects, excluding Environmental Science/Education), received at the 10+2 level as well as the marks obtained in the University test.
Candidates who get shortlisted for two subjects can choose their favourite subject during the counseling.
Students belonging to the SC/ST/PwD are eligible for 5% relaxation in percentage needed to be eligible in all the above courses.

NPU PG Admission 2024: MA. M.Com, M.Sc, MCA & MBA

NiPU offers the postgraduate program in different streams. Admission to the programs like MA, M.Com, M.Sc are done on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam followed by counselling.

Lastly I would like to highlight the positive environment in college. Teachers are friendly with students.

Dislikes

Classes are not conducted on regular basis.
Exams are not conducted on time. Batches are usually late.

Admission:

For getting admission in M.Sc Zoology, one must have completed graduation in zoology with good percentage. One have apply on Jharkhand portal site. Then merit list is out from respective college department. There is no entrance exam conducted for admission.

Likes

The best thing about college is that it has one of the best building structure in palamu district.
College atmosphere is one of the best as students from various places come to study here. And they can have healthy interaction within themselves.

Dislikes

College campus needs to be a bit clean as some students don't take care of atmosphere and college campus.
College management should focus on the basic infrastructure such as electricity in the classes

Admission:

To enroll in graduation course, candidate have to pass their intermediate examination. Student have to get the admission form in college premises. College also provides reservation facilities for meritorious students. Exams are conducted as per semester wise i.e 6 months interval and difficulty level can be conquered by attending regular classes.

Anyone having 60 percentage in his intermediate examination can avail a seat in this college without any donation.No need to apply online form, if you want admission in this college first visit here and check the teachers and practical classes, equipment available for all the branches.As per all branches there in no sufficient equipments for practical classes .For more details check on Google.

I like about the college is that teacher are friendly to students and there explaining techniques are quite awesome.
The staff is eco-friendly and deals with all problems with very nice way.

Dislikes

The most dislike thing about the college is the session was not completed on time.which cause waste in the student academic year.

Admission:

Earlier admission process was on the basis of class 12th result but now it is based on new government examination cuet. When seat remains vacant after cuet admission then they go for direct cutoff basis of 12th class.
