First and best thing is the climate of the place the greenery free from pollution and isolation is the best aspect of the place fees charges are also very nominal if one could manage to get into normal seat that will be very easy for him in expenses
Directly horticulture and forestry is a applied science means we can grow any thing we want can develop varieties

Dislikes

Education tours and practical knowledge of things are limited
Marking system is sometimes biased in case of few teachers

Internships Opportunities:

Intership programs are offered in the last year of graduation depending on the major field you opt for in the last year for exapmle if you choose fruit science you get opportunities to works with juice companies like Solan naturals Chaupal naturals Floriculture industries in panchkula Projects are given on basis of there interests field

A Comprehensive Review of Horticulture and Forestry University

Likes

Faculty members are highly educated and supportive and the curriculum is designed to equip students with practical skills and theoretical knowledge
University enviroment is very good, they offer a wide range of unergraduate and postgraduate programs tailored to suit various interest

Dislikes

University infrastructure is not upto the point, equipments in the laboratories are not very good and can be improved for good research experience
Placement cells are not so active as they should be, there are less chances of getting into a very high paied jobs

Internships Opportunities:

i didnt find much companies which give internship programms but university manage to place students with different organizations in different departments like food processing, plant propagation, commercial horticulture etc.

The college bears Horticulture and Forestry fields both of which have very less scope in the private sectors and have government jobs mostly for which one has to clear certain tests so university doesn't have much say or do in the placements.

Generally no or 1 to two company's visit. Moreover the mainly placement done on the individual basis. This is the most important thing lacking in our university. Moreover there is no reservation for the forestry students in the state as well centre services exams.

The placement & job opportunities are also very good because I also get heird through college campus with average package the company which I get hierd is best for training and I was CNC LATHE OPERATOR in the company (QH TALBROS PVT LIMITED) The stipend which is get is around 120000 per annum
