MDU Rohtak BCA Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to MDU Rohtak BCA shall fulfill the following eligibility criteria to apply for the course

Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) of Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani with 45% marks in aggregate or an equivalent examination.

Passed a 3-years Diploma with Mathematics from an institution recognized by the State Board of Technical Education as equivalent thereto.

MDU Rohtak BCA (Lateral Entry) Eligibility Criteria

MDU Rohtak also offers a lateral entry into the BCA course.

Candidates who have done a one-year Certificate Course in Computer Applications can get admission directly in the 3rd semester.
Candidates having a two-year Diploma course in Computer Application can join the course from the 5th semester.

MDU Rohtak BCA Admission Criteria

Admission to the BCA at MDU Rohtak is conducted online based on scores obtained in the entrance examination conducted by the university. The final selection will be done through counselling conducted by the university based on 10+2 marks and entrance exam scores.

MDU Rohtak BCA Application Process

Candidates need to apply for an online application on the MDU Roohtak’s official website @mdu.ac.in.

Step 1: Candidates are required to do a quick registration with a mobile number.

Step 2: Then, you have to log in with your id and password and complete the application form which requires biometrics, educational qualification, and documents.

Step 3: After filling the application form, you need to upload your passport size photo and signature.

Step 4: Next, you will be asked to upload some scanned documents.

Step 5: At last, you will have to pay the application fee and your application form will be submitted.

MDU Rohtak BCA Course Details

MDU Rohtak BCA is a three-year course, of which the coursework is divided into six semesters.
It is a semester-based marks system program.
The course provides technical and software learning to the BCA students.
The program is offered in theoretical and practical mode.
Apart from class learning, candidates get the opportunity to create projects and participate in workshops.
In the final semester, many recruiters like HP, Flipkart, Infosys, Snapdeal visit the campus to hire candidates examining their technological skills.

MDU Rohtak BCA Program Structure

Course Schedule: Each course of MDU Rohtak BCA is offered for 4 periods per week.
Scholarship: MDU Rohtak offers several kinds of scholarships to its students on the basis of the results of University Examinations. For the students of BCA, the varsity offers a University Merit Scholarship. Students can get this scholarship on the basis of their BCA 1st year result. Students will get INR 200 per month under this scholarship until the end of the course.
Attendance: If any MDU Rohtak BCA student doesn’t have a minimum percentage of attendance, the Director/Principal would not allow him/her to appear for the examination. Students of MDU, Rohtak BCA are required to attend not less than 65% of the lectures including both theoretical and practical classes. However, there is a relaxation of 20% in lectures for those students who show themselves on the grounds of self-illness, marriage, death of relatives, etc, with valid proof. Students who want to appear for the examination with 20% or 30% attendance will be required INR 5 per absent class.

No bullying and quick action against bad behaviour students, good staff they don't have bad attitude towards students

Transport facility they say they will provide AC cabs but after 1st sem they provide old eeco van without AC only some cab has AC
They say they provide cab pickup at nearest location of your house but I have to travel 2km daily for cab

I have chosen bca bachelor computer application it is very good course it has Ai , cyber security and coding included intresting cource and somehow I find less stress in this course and it has good carrier apportunity and good salary package

The college campus was good there are so many trees and plant.s which gives a better look and the buildings and facilities are good
There are so many clubs like dance club yoga club sports club and many more to improve your hobby aur passion and and also to do great for cllg

The cllg gates are closed after the 10:30 am for students and reopen after 12am means we can't enter in cllg after 10:30am and also can't go outside before 12 am
The cllg ground was not only for cllg students ground is also for fav school which is located behind the cllg there is no seperation between cllg and school

The course was little outdated syllabus but the faculty gives us the sperate knowledge about the current things and gives us vison the curriculum prepares us for real world application there is lab everyday where we learns code from basics by syallbsu wise the end sem exam was about the 3 hours and exam was not hat difficulty level

Exams were very clear and easy and marking scheme is also good students are not under pressure

Dislikes

As such I don't disliked anything but yeah college has been made in a proper rural area no canteen and food
Ola uber services don't work and it's very difficult to find college sometimes

Course Curriculum Overview:

BCA curriculum includes programming languages like C, C++, Java , Aap.Net, python, database management, web development, networking, and software engineering. BCA is a relevant course but I think Btech provides more career aspects. It has higher demand and opportunities as compared to BCA. Opting for btech eliminates the need for Mtech like MCA after BCA. Now I have to do master degree too for better opportunities and salary packages.

I chose BCA to join the IT Department but as I came to know the Syllabus and real-world technical needs I lost hope of getting a job in IT. But after coming to know teachers' knowledge of programming and coding I came into depression that they are just focused on making students bookworm. Their practical knowledge of coding or programming is just below the average. When our college started after COVID-19 I was in the second sem I came to college to gain some practical knowledge rather than books and I came to know I made a big mistake. But teachers of theory subjects are good. They are supportive.
