Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak has released the revised MDUCEE 2024 counselling for admission to certificate courses and PG diploma progrmas. Candidates can check the schedule on the official website mdu.ac.in. Eligible candidates must complete the MDUCEE 2024 counselling registration by October 13, 2024. Based on the registrations, the provisional merit list will be released online on October 15, 2024. If you have any objections, you can submit hard copies of the necessary documents or send an email to the concerned authorities. After correcting the discrepancies, the final merit list will be released on October 19, 2024.
- The first round of MDUCEE counselling 2024 will be conducted in the concerned Department on October 22, 2024. Deposit the fee online by October 22, 2024.
The counselling process will be conducted in three rounds, followed by another round if there are vacant seats. The counselling is in the physical mode. So, you must report to the concerned department for admission. Shortlisted candidates must pay the fee online using Debit Card/ Net Banking by the next day. MDUCEE 2024 exam date is from August 23 to August 27, 2024. Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak will release MDUCEE 2024 application form on their website, at mdu.ac.in. MDUCEE 2024 registration began on July 04, 2024 (for UG) and July 20, 2024 (for PG). MDUCEE 2024 application form was available on the official website.
Maharshi Dayanand University Common Entrance Exam is a state-level entrance test conducted for admission to various M.Sc and M.Pharma courses across seven universities in Haryana. The entrance test will be conducted on multiple dates in the month of January by Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak. You will be required to pay the application fee of INR 600 for General and INR 150 for SC/BC categories.
MDUCEE 2024 exam consists of 100 multiple choice questions (MCQs). All courses are primarily classified into six groups, namely Life Sciences, Forensic Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. A total 100 questions are asked as per MDUCEE 2024 exam pattern. For each correct answer, +1 mark is allotted and zero for incorrect answers. Ques. Is there a negative marking in MDUCEE 2024 exam?
Ans. Yes, there will be a negative marking in MDUCEE 2024 exam. For every incorrect answer, you will be marked with -0.25. Each correct answer carries +1 and 0 for unattempted ones. So, it is advised to skip questions in which you are facing confusions.
Ques. Can I ask for a re-evaluation score of MDUCEE 2024 exam?
Ans. MDUCEE 2024 result will be released in the form of a scorecard. However, once published MDUCEE 2024 result cannot be send for re-evaluation process. There will be four rounds in counselling process of Maharshi Dayanand University Common Entrance Exam 2024 depending on the vacant seats.

MDUCEE 2024 Courses and Eligibility
Candidates should go through the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. Eligibility criteria is primarily the minimum academic and age limit threshold set by participating universities for candidates to be able to appear for Maharshi Dayanand University Common Entrance Exam 2024 and subsequently obtain admission in the desirable courses:
- All the courses covered under Maharshi Dayanand University Common Entrance Exam 2024 and offered by seven state universities, have been formed into 6 groups.
- For every group, entrance exam will be conducted separately.
- Additional fees will have to be deposited by candidates, who want to give entrance exams for more than one group.
Life Sciences
This group covers 15 M.Sc courses and eligibility criteria across courses are different. Eligibility criteria for all courses are as follows –

This group covers 7 M.Pharm courses M. Pharm. (Industrial Pharmacy), M. Pharm. (Pharmaceutics) (Drug Regulatory Affairs), M. Pharm. (Pharmaceutics), M. Pharm. (Drug Regulatory Affairs), M. Pharm. MDUCEE 2024 Application Form
Application form for Maharshi Dayanand University Common Entrance Exam 2024 has to be filled by candidates only through online mode. University follows online admission procedure, but prospectus (for reference only) can still be bought for INR 150 from the Assistant Registrar (Publication Cell), M.D. University, Rohtak.
Following are the steps for successful completion of online application submission –
- Go to the official website of HCEE 2024 - https://mducee2024.thinkadmission.in/ and click on ‘New Registration’ tab to arrive at the following webpage
- Fill all details, including Name, date of birth and other personal particulars, along with email ID and mobile number. Candidate must ensure that mobile number and email ID being entered are absolutely correct since Admission Authority (DOA) will be conducting all communication through mobile and email only, with no postal correspondence.
- Click on ‘Register Now’ tab after carefully filling all details and then click on ‘Continue To Payment’ tab. Subsequent to successful completion of registration, candidate will receive User ID and password on his/her email ID and mobile
- Select payment type as online and click on ‘Proceed To Payment’ tab to arrive at following webpage
- General category students will have pay application processing fee (inclusive of Entrance Test Fee) of INR 600 for one subject, while SC/BC candidates of Haryana will have to pay INR 150
- Furthermore, in case candidate applies for more than one course, which requires a different entrance exam to be given, a fee of INR 300 has to be submitted by General category students, while SC/BC candidates of Haryana will have to pay INR 75, for each additional course
- Click on ‘Pay Now’ tab after filling all required details of Net Banking and then on next page click ‘Continue to Application’ tab
- Correctly and carefully fill remaining personal particulars, along with reservation details as well as correspondence address
- Subsequently, candidate will have to upload scanned images of his/her photograph and signatures, both in either jpg or jpeg format
- Click on ‘Save & Continue’ tab
- Candidate will reach webpage for filling details of his/her academic qualifications
- After filling details and submitting them candidate will reach following page
- Click on ‘Save’ tab to reach final preview page
- Click on ‘Back-To Edit’ if any changes need to be done, other click on ‘Submit & Print’
- Click ‘Ok’ when confirmation message appears to view final application form
- Application must be saved and printed for future references
- Candidate can login into their respective accounts using User ID and password to add another group
MDUCEE 2024 Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The paper will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper based test) based on the graduation syllabus of the relevant programs.
Pattern of Examination and Marking Scheme
MDUCEE 2024 Entrance Exam will be objective in nature and candidates will be required to ask only MCQs. Candidates must be careful while answering questions since exam entails negative marking for incorrect answer
- Entrance Exam will be conducted over a time frame of one and a half hours (90 minutes)
- Each candidate will have to attempt 100 MCQs
- Each MCQ will carry 1 mark
- For every correct answer, candidates will earn 1 mark
- For every incorrect answer -0.25 marks will be deducted

MDUCEE 2024 Seat Reservation
Reservation of seats under Maharshi Dayanand University Common Entrance Exam 2024 is based on reservation policy notified by Government of Haryana vide Notification No. 22/10/2013 - IGSIII dated 28/2/2013 and instructions are given by State Government periodically
- Seat Reservation includes state quota, quota for reserved categories, schedule caste, backward classes and physically handicapped.

MDU publishes the complete list of result all the appearing candidates. Maharshi Dayanand University Common Entrance Exam 2024 Results will be declared separately for all groups.

Steps to Download Result Sheet
- Visit on the official website of MDU - mdurohtak.ac.in
- Go to Admission tab on top row and click on ‘Entrance Exam Results’
- Select the Entrance Exam link for Group under which the candidate’s subject falls
- A pdf file, with results of all candidates will open
MDUCEE 2024 Counselling
Subsequent to declaration of result, MDU has issue the counselling schedule on basis of marks obtained in entrance exam and category under which candidate has registered. There will be four rounds in counselling process of Maharshi Dayanand University Common Entrance Exam 2024 depending on the seats that remain vacant after the completion of initial rounds.
- In case seats remain vacant after 1st round of counselling, more candidates are called for 2nd round and so on
- Candidates have to submit a counselling fee of INR 500 immediately after result has been declared, along with submission of choices of courses
- Counselling for all rounds commences at 9 a.m.

- Two sets of photocopies of each document
- Original and 2 sets of photocopies of proof for any claims made for reserved seats
