Great budget college to get a degree

Likes

Surrounded by nature and there is no loud sound or city noise
Good atmosphere and great and conductive environment for self study

Dislikes

A little bit far from the city and poor connectivity
It’s hard to reach college at night when buses stop

Placement Experience:

College hosts a placements fair in which students from nearby colleges also arrive to participate. College does provide placements but in the end, it's the students who need to qualify for it. Mostly companies from nearby industrial areas like Panipat Ambala and Delhi NCR arrive. IT companies from Chandigarh also come for CSE students.

I really liked the staff. Every teacher here is so friendly and is ready to help, you can ask anything anytime. They all are always ready to help us out in a very nice and friendly way. Some teachers are my personal favorite, they are fun to be with.
Second is that i like the campus of our college though it is small but beautiful and well maintained. It gives such pleasant vibe, i really like our central park and also the canteen area is so cool. There is shade of trees and chairs to rest as well

Dislikes

Some area/parts of the building are not clean regularly and there is so much dirt and its so unpleasant to be honest.
As i mentioned the canteen area is good but the canteen food is not! I believe there is so much that can be done to the canteen to make it better.

Internships Opportunities:

As these are my first sumer holidays aka internship break, i haven't landed any internship yet but i have taken a course of c/c++ and as soon as it finishes gonna try for some internship as well. Our college/teachers definitely educated us about internships opportunities.

the environment is quiet good and the university have good infrastructure
canteens facilities are provided outside departments

Dislikes

not much curricular activities in the university
Air conditioning facilities are not in the classroom

Internships Opportunities:

The students are provided with internship opportunities . The major companies are of Guru gram , panipat, karnal and Chandigarh. No stipends are given, we have to work for free and there is no stipend for expenses

Hostel Life is quite good you would have a very good time there
University is quite clean and green you would have university market health care facilities

Dislikes

Lab equipments are not in very good condition like most of pc are not working
Placements are not as you expect. you would have to bring atleast 7-8 cgpa for good placement

Placement Experience:

Many companies come for placements for ece and cse companies like BEL , Infosys, Wipro, Avon , Siemens in previous year ie in 2024 placements were not as good as it should be only 3-4 students from ece were able to bag a package of 11lpa . Min package offered is 3-4 lpa and max package is of 25lpa

The college has greenery everywhere which is good for atmosphere and the surroundings are beautiful and good for studying.
Infrastructure is well developed with equipped buildins

Dislikes

Unorganized teaching by the teachers and disoriented system.
Less study space for students as the campus is small.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements but the course which i was doing we have to masters as there are negligible companies who recruit bsc students from the college. There were some local nearby companies which had come to recruit students but as such there were no big names. Students mostly do there higher studies after this course and i am planning to do the same.

Dislikes

Teachers some time doesn't behave properly with students and that is not good things. Also soany teachers are so strict that is also not good

Internships Opportunities:

College campus provide companies option to do internship which are high rated like SBI mutual fund, itel, tech. Mahindra, etc. so many companies. The projects which we have mainly to learn how company works and skill that learn from them and take knowledge about their works.

Focus on yourself and skills not on clg or course .

Safety ,you can not go out from clg any time.
Many technical and non technical events are organised .

Dislikes

Teachers only teach basic syllabus and not enough for semester exam you have to study in deep whole the syllabus .
They do not focus on your technical skills , you have to focus by yourself

Internships Opportunities:

Comapny come with condition like work from home to 6pm to 10 pm and you have to attend clg 9am to 4:30 pm how was it possible and student have to travel 1 or 2 hour also . If you not submit task then you may fired . And very few company came for internships

teachers are good and suppportive and ready to help
infra is also good according to fees they are providing good facilities

Dislikes

placemets are very bad at time of admissions they promised a placemnets of 12 lacs but at last their average package is around 3 to 4 lacs
rules are not aligned with students once the students entered in college they are not allowed to leave the campus untill the 4 pm

Placement Experience:

from 7th sem students become eligible but the companies came here offered very bad packages like 2 or 3 lac . and no mnc or top companies come here only small companies visits. overall campus placement is very bad.

Various curricular activities were given opportunities
I was the student of AI and DS first batch and our curriculum was not good but after years they made changes for student.

Dislikes

The companies visit the college but it was not of good package according to the fees
Restrictions for small things like you can't even go outside of hostel after 6 pm even at campus but this is only for girls. No restrictions for boys

Placement Experience:

Placement is okay. Companies visit the college but they are of less package according to the fees they are taking. However, they provide technical and placement classes to improve the skills of students. I am placed but I can say it was not very easy.
