Great budget college to get a degree

Dislikes

  • A little bit far from the city and poor connectivity
  • It’s hard to reach college at night when buses stop

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college comes under the aegis of Kurukshetra University and hence follows the syllabus as prescribed by the university. They do have diverse subjects to choose from during each semester and hence students have a choice.

Placement Experience :

College hosts a placements fair in which students from nearby colleges also arrive to participate. College does provide placements but in the end, it's the students who need to qualify for it. Mostly companies from nearby industrial areas like Panipat Ambala and Delhi NCR arrive. IT companies from Chandigarh also come for CSE students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The annual fee is 600000. There are tution fees increase each year but those are for new admissions only. There are merit-based scholarships. They follow the same fee structure throughout the course duration which they tell you during the admissions and there are no increases in the fees.

Campus Life :

The infrastructure is good. There are separate basketball and volleyball courts as well as an indoor court for badminton and billiards. Apart from that annual cultural events are also organised. As college is far sometimes when winds blow too much there is an electricity issue which takes time to solve.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are separate for both girls and boys. And there are options of double, triple, and quadruple sharing as well as AC and Non-Ac options. If you opt for AC and Cooler then you have to pay the electricity bill separately. Mess charges are included in the hostel fees whether you go to mess or not

Admission :

The only eligibility is 60% above in class 12th. Other than that there are no restrictions or barriers in getting admission in any of the courses provided by the college. There are reservation benefits for Haryana local students but there are none for the outside state students.

Faculty :

The faculty is great and highly qualified. Most of them are gate-qualified and from great institutions Like NIT Kurukshetra and Punjab technological university. They are very calm and understanding in nature.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Best companies came and most of the students get placed with good packages about 3-5 lakhs . Our college introduced us with no.of companies for internship and placements like Intershala, training basket, ninja mynos, luneblaze etc.

Placement Experience:

The companies start to visit the campus to place students in 7th and 8th semesters. Almost all the sincere students get a decent fresher job. Students decide from the multiple MNC's that visit the institute every year. Infosys, Daffodil, and Naggaro are some which constantly conduct placement drives. Many students crack government exams thanks to the world-class library and many also crack off-campus offers. In a nutshell, the institute's placement cell in the leadership of Training and Placement Officer Mr.Arun Hooda who himself is an alumnus of the institute has something to offer to every candidate.I plan to either go for a government job or crack a good placement offer , But currently being a sophomore i am not focusing so much on my plans after i get a degree.

Remarks:

If I talk about the negative remarks is this college is affiliated from Kurukshetra University and the results are very bad. Almost 60-70% students of particular stream get reappear. And it never get cleared in first attempt.
