Course Curriculum Overview :
I studied medical in 11th and 12th and gave neet but unfortunately wasnt able to get a seat government medical college so i chose the other option and did bsc. I researched about colleges nearby my home and i decided to join this college . More study resources can be provided to the students with improvement in course planner as well. There are mid terms and end terms held in each semester and each semester is of 6 months. There were quizzes also which were conducted.
Placement Experience :
From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements but the course which i was doing we have to masters as there are negligible companies who recruit bsc students from the college. There were some local nearby companies which had come to recruit students but as such there were no big names. Students mostly do there higher studies after this course and i am planning to do the same.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees was 15000 per year for this course. Campus employment opportunities were not there and financial assistance was only for reserved candidates which were sc/st. There weren't any as such campus employments so stipend wasn't given as per my knowledge.
Campus Life :
Talent find festival and zonal youth festival are conducted which are very nice and open for all to participate. I came 2nd in the competition. These are very nice about the college. It is also A++ credited which is only college to get this rating nearby. Sports facilities are there for main sports only such as badminton football and cricket and there is a huge ground also. Clubs regarding dance music and other extra curricular are aslo there but i had no interest so didn't participate.
Admission :
You can be given admission on basis of 12 th percentage or you can also give quiz and interview for the course which i opted. I didn't have any reservation. I got more than 80 percent in boards so i was given direct admission in the college.
Faculty :
There were 4 faculties in the department and total 28 students were there. The teaching was awesome about the subjects but the mentorship needed some improvement. The approachability and interaction with teachers was also great as the students faculty ratio was about 7-8 students per faculty
Other Applied Colleges
Chandigarh University - [CU] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Biotechnology)
The fees was high and i couldn't meet the demands within that period of time
