After 1 st sem with minimum eligibility anyone can sit in the placement cell .there are more than 200 companies which have visited in our campus and highest offer made till date is 88.5 lpa and avg is 8.30lpa and campus placement is 90% approx. My plan after geeting b.tech degree is to do m.tech.

The Nirma Life

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college are very good and almost has a 100% placement each year. The highest salary packages in CSE are 48LPA, in ECE is 35LPA, in EIE is 15LPA. Companies like Qualcomm, nxp, arm, Google, oracle, microsoft come to our campus for placements and internships.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are there in Nirma. Nirma allows students of Nirma University to take place in placement interviews after one year of their graduation also. Talking about my field highest package was of around 36.5 lakhs/year. Average is about 9 lakhs/year. Many students choose to pursue there Masters after under graduation, Nirma University also helps in that by providing letter of recommendation. But students of Nirma have to choose between two choices, wether they want to take placement or the letter of recommendation. At this stage I am not able to decide what to do...

Placement cell provides you with good opportunities but it deneds on what you do with that opportunity. Lab are well equipped with well experienced lab faculties who are pursuing or have Phds in that particular subject.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is pretty good in this collage but it is upto your hardwork and your skills. You're only allowed to sit in placements only if you score more than 7cgpa, so on an average most students do get placed but at a low annual income. Highest pakages are a marketing stratery and only 1 or 2 students get it by their owm hardwork. I am planing to prepare for gate and pursue my masters in VLSI from IIT.

Nirma University has been able to provide excellent placements to students for the various courses offered by the university.

The highest package offered last year from CSE Department was INR 46.27 Lakhs per Annum by an IT Company based in Bangalore. The average package offered to students for the past few years comes around to be INR 8 Lakhs per Annum.

Apart from the CSE, the placements in other branches of Engineering have been pretty good as per the records. Around 95% of students get placed each year.
Over 75 Companies visit the campus each year. Some major recruiters include Tech Giants like Oracle, TCS, Infosys, Morgan Stanley, Cognizant, and Amazon.
L&T shortlisted 72 candidates in the first round of placement. MuSigma and many other mass recruiters are expected to visit the campus next year as well.

Many of my friends are alumni of the Institute of Management, Nirma University, and also many of them are studying at other reputed colleges such as IIMs, IIFT, NMIMS, SIBM, and the likes. So, I am quite aware of the placement situations at these B-schools.

Nirma has been faring better than their peers with many companies of repute lining up for campus placements. Well on a comparison basis, the academic curriculum is at par with the best B-schools in the country with very accomplished faculty taking courses at the Institute. Nirma also offers good infrastructure, campus, etc.

Now, coming to the most important factor, i.e. ROI, Nirma is definitely worth the investment that you make. And if you have decent academics and skills, you will get a good placement through the campus drive.

The campus life is better in PDPU than Nirma, there are a lot of rules and regulations students have to strictly follow.
In Nirma a 85% attendance is to be maintained by the students to be able to sit for the examinations.
The overall academic pressure is more in PDPU than Nirma.
In Nirma, UG students do not get hostels.
Placements depend more on your branch than the institution.
CS and IT Nirma are much better than PDPU. Petroleum Engineering is the best in PDPU. Maximum students are hired by ONGC from PDPU.
Nirma provides much better transportation facilities than PDPU.

Nirma University (NU) situated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat is a NAAC accredited ‘A’ grade private university. It has been ranked 131 for engineering by NIRF 2020. Nirma University provides a 4-year classroom program for B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.

Admission:

The total course fee for BTech mechanical engineering at Nirma University is 7.24 Lakh. The student intake for mechanical engineering is 120.

The required eligibility is 45% in the 12th board from the Science stream.
Admission to the BTech programs is through GUJCET or JEE Mains.

Electrical and Computer science is very different from each other and they have very few things similar to each other.

In electrical engineering, the course module includes a lot of physics and classical and applied maths, but in computer science, the course module includes discrete and applied maths and there is no part of physics.
In electrical engineering, there are a lot of theoretical studies of maths and physics but in computer science, there are mostly logical studies and coding. Although at the advanced level, these two branches do marge a bit, they are completely different for beginners.

Here’s a brief overview of the two courses mentioned in the question.
