Ahmedabad University Need-Based Scholarship
Ahmedabad University Need-Based Scholarships offer diverse career opportunities and education for students belonging to different social backgrounds.
- A total of 80% of students receive support from Ahmedabad University to minimize their educational costs.
- Under this scholarship scheme, a partial or full waiver of the tuition fee is granted to the candidate.
- The student is eligible for a full and partial tuition fee waiver if the annual family income is up to INR 5,00,000 and INR 10,00,000 respectively. (Not applicable for B.Tech Students)
- The university will conduct an assessment of the family income, expenditure pattern, and assets and a personal visit to the family residence/business by an independent audit agency before the final decision.
- In case a student qualifies for an Academic and a Need-Based Scholarship, the Academic Scholarship will be awarded first, and the Need-Based Scholarship will include the balance (if any).
Ahmedabad University Ahmedabad Fellowship
The fellowship will offer a 100% waiver of the tuition fees and it can be renewed annually for Bachelors/Integrated Masters Programmes.
- Fellowship with Student Housing will be given to the top five students who are residents in cities that are outside Gujarat.
- After a holistic assessment of the candidate, these fellowships are awarded to the Bachelor and Integrated Masters Programmes at the time of admission.
- These fellowships can be renewed on the basis of the academic performance of the candidate.
- Ahmedabad Fellowships will be awarded to B.Tech students above a specified AIR in JEE (Main Examination)
- A full waiver of the tuition for four years is granted to the first 500 rankers from the list prepared by ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses)
Ahmedabad University Ahmedabad Scholarship
- At the time of admissions, a one-time 100% tuition fee waiver is given to the students admitted to Bachelors and Integrated Masters Programmes.
- After a holistic assessment of the candidate, these fellowships are awarded and are subject to student academic performance.

Ahmedabad University Merit Scholarship
- Ahmedabad University Merit Scholarships are awarded to the highest-scoring student in each program from the second year onwards based on their academic performance.
- The number of Merit scholarships will be proportionate to the number of students enrolled in each programme.
Ahmedabad University Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship
Ahmedabad Univerisity Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship engages itself in gathering the brightest and most deserving students across the country. The Scholarship will provide a full tuition fee waiver, and room and board for students from outside Ahmedabad applicable to a maximum of ten students in a year. The Mahatma Gandhi Scholars Programme also provides other benefits for the selected students.
Ahmedabad University Mahatma Gandhi Scholars will have the following benefits:
- Full fee waiver including the Tuition Fee, fee for Study Materials and Text Books, and the Security Deposit
- Fee waiver for any Independent Study Period courses
- Hostel fees (Available to Ahmedabad Scholars too)

Ahmedabad University The Daksha Niranjan Shah Scholarship
- The Daksha Niranjan Shah Scholarship is launched to support a girl student in her undergraduate education at Ahmedabad University.
- Preference is given more to the first learner in the family.
- This scholarship will be awarded to the same girl until she graduates from Ahmedabad University.
Ahmedabad University Scholarship for College Board India Scholars Programme for New Students
- Ahmedabad University offers 100% Tuition Scholarships to the top scores in SAT from India for their entire undergraduate program.
- A candidate must complete the application formalities with the Central Board before applying.

Ahmedabad University Masters and Doctoral Programmes Financial Aid
Ahmedabad University offers Merit Scholarships to acknowledge the academic achievements of the students. This is based on holistic assessment of candidates and the attainment of certain academic scores. Details are listed below:

Master of Arts in Economics & Master of Science in Quantitative Finance: Students pursuing the course is eligible for a tuition support of INR 75,000 per year. Also, students who require extra financial support have the option to apply for a Fellowship. This entails taking on a Teaching Assistantship role under the guidance of a faculty member. Opting for the Fellowship increases tuition support to INR 1.25 lakh per year which reduces the tution fee by 50%.

Master of Management Studies in Heritage Management: Students have the option to enroll in a fellowship program of INR 50,000. As part of this program, they are need to undertake Teaching Assistantship under the guidance of a faculty member. Under this, their net fees amount to INR 1.25 lakh per year. 5 deserving shortlisted candidates will recieve “CHM Bursary" of INR 50,000 per year and the effective fee will be INR 75,000 if the candidate opt for a Fellowship as well.

Master of Technology (Composites, Computer Science and Engineering): The students pursuing a Master of Technology (Composites, Computer Science and Engineering) have the option to enroll in a fellowship program of INR 50,000 and the effective fee will be INR 1.25 LPA.

Doctor of Philosophy: Ahmedabad University provides complete tuition fee exemption and financial assistance to doctoral candidates. This support may come in the form of a University Fellowship, University Assistantship, or funding from sponsored projects. The University Assistantship entails a monthly stipend of INR 40,000 in addition to a tuition fee waiver, while the University Fellowship offers a monthly stipend of INR 50,000 along with a tuition fee waiver.

Fees and Financial Aid:
The total fee of 4 year is 160000 and 20000 is per semester fees. The fees are same for all categories of students. No scholarship is provided by the college till now. The tution fee is 19000 and 1000 is miscellaneous fee. The per year fee is 40000

- There is separate student lounge for the students where the faculty is not allowed
- All the activities are conducted by the students only

- On free time for 1st year students as they keep very busy
- They give a lot of assignment and activities
Fees and Financial Aid:
The total course fee for 1 year is 460000 which is divided in 2 semister in 1 year so the BBA honours course duration is total 4 years which will total cost around 18,40,000 . There is no such increase in fees

- The aspect of the college is very supportive and experienced staff.
- The quality education provide by them. The effectiveness of the placement cell is very supportive.
Dislikes
- The relevance and rigor of the course curriculum to best.
- Very beautiful infrastructure and very good.

College give the scholarship to the students for the fees payment. Student first in university exam college give the scholarship for his graduation after post graduation studies. Give the appropriate documents for the scholarship.

- Education and curriculam was too good along with extra facilities.
- College is having restrictions and always serious for studies.
Dislikes
- Fees is so expensive that you can't afford more if you are not financially in good condition.
- No hostel facilities for girls. So, different to find out of college hostel

During my time fees was 40,000 per year and now it is raising to 1,00,000 per year for BCom which is too high. If you want want to search for scholarships and you should fulfill our criterias otherewise if your parents are rich and capable enough to handle your three year fees then only you should come.

- Unneccesary courses like foundation programmer, if 2 then its okay but having 4 waste lots of time and student lacks behind in his/her core field
- Fees, I think the current fee structure of enginnering is not worth properly.
Fees and Financial Aid:
For Btech students, I had fees of 1.73 lakhs per year. For new joiners joining now, I think its double and around 3 lakhs per year. They do provide good financial support to those who really need and after submitting proper documents they can avail of need-based scholarships. Also, the batch toppers also awarded additional scholarships. Colleges do have a placement cell, students have to pay for it in order to enroll. Companies do come to campus but usually, startups, some of them are good and some are early-stage starups majorly from Ahmedabad. The average will be around 6 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid:
No fees hike and scholarship for students needing financial aid. Others can avail of merit-based financial aid. And others can avail apply for mysy gov scholarship. All these are based on overall family income.

- I don't like attendance policy because it's 80%

Every year there is an increase in fees by 10% and the cost of the study is high there. They give scholarships to students who don't have good family conditions. They also give jobs to students on campus after study hours

- Campus is so good and all the faculty are well experienced.
- Infrastructure is well designed and there are multiple courses available
Dislikes
- Pressure of studies and so much fees we are paying
- Irritating management like if we mail then according to them they will respond
Fees and Financial Aid:
Yes, there is a hike in fees every year and that is 10 percent of last year's fees it also costs to study and there are so many scholarships on campus if there is a 4 CGPA and if your CGPA is 3.7 and above then you don't have to pay a single rupee for the year.

- Faculties are very knowledgeable and have very calm and good nature
- Students are also good and have knowledge in various fields
Dislikes
- Parking facilities are not so good as required
- Staff who handles college need good behaviour

There were no scholarships in the colleges and also no one even applied for any scholarship because it is a government Handled college and it charges nominal fees so there is no need for a scholarship also.
Likes
- First of all, the campus life it is awesome. A lot of events will make you enjoy here.
- The infrastructure of the university is the best. And maybe very less universities in India will have these kind of modern infrastructure.
Dislikes
- I personally didn't liked some courses like the foundation course as I feel it doesn't have very practical applications
- Fee structure of the university is way too high and not everyone can afford it.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee structure at Ahmedabad university is pretty high as many universities and colleges in the city can provide you with the same degree for less than half the cost of tuition. But, it is worth investing in as the learnings we get are very precious. I received no Scholarships.
