Delhi University MCA admission 2024 is ongoing. Delhi University MCA Round 03 Seat Allotment result has been released. Candidates can check the seat allocation result on the DU CSAS PG dashboard @pgadmission.uod.ac.in. Selected candidates in Round 03 can accept the allocated seat by July 19. DU MCA is a 2-year full-time program offered by the Department of Computer Science. There are 58 seats for students qualifying the entrance exam and 03 or 5% seats are reserved for international students. Candidates having a bachelor’s degree in computers are eligible for admission to the MCA program offered by Delhi University.

DU MCA Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible for MCA admission at Delhi University, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
- The applicant must have secured an aggregate of 60% or a relevant CGPA in school examinations. The university has relief in annual examination for special category candidates.
- Candidate needs to have an undergraduate degree with Mathematical Science as a compulsory subject in examinations either from Delhi university or any other recognized university.

DU MCA Admission Process
Candidates seeking admission to the MCA program at Delhi University are required to appear for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET PG), conducted by NTA. Candidates who clear the entrance examination will be required to register on Delhi University’s admission portal. Provisional seat allotment will be done through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS PG) portal by Delhi University where candidates will be required to fill in college and department preferences. For the final selection, a merit list will be released by Delhi University based on CUET PG scores, college and department preferences, availability of seats, reservation criteria, academic qualifications, and other factors.
DU MCA Application Process
The application process is restricted to online mode only and it is compulsory to register on the common portal on DU PG Admission Portal. All candidates need to follow these steps in order to achieve a successful application to the curriculum.
- Visit the official website of DU and on the admission tab click on DU PG Portal Admission.
- Register by providing a functioning email and Phone Number.
- After successful registration, the applicant needs to upload the self-attested documents on the portal for further process.
- Choose the course- MCA and fill in the accurate details about earlier education and personal details.
- The portal will show the payment option for application to the university.
- An application fee of INR 700 and INR 300 is charged from the general category students and reserved category students respectively.
- The application would include admission options: Entrance / Merit / Entrance & Merit Based, applicants must choose Entrance based only.
- Select Department of Computer Science in choice of college for admission.
- Check all details and submit the form.

The exams are conducted on time. The exams aren't too difficult you can pass them if you cover your syllabus thoroughly.

MCA is a very rewarding choice in terms of placement and after landing in du there would be a lot of opportunities as many good companies visit campus. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:12. Every teacher is having with excellent teaching skills and also published many research papers. Exams are not cake walks .you need to put effort to get good grades in exams. Exams took place timely.

I choose this course because this field is a vast and changing one, and I want to go with the latest. For a well-qualified faculty can handle up to 50 students in class and 35 in a lab. From the perspective of academics, every faculty need Mphil or NET qualification, but not only that but need experience in the field of teaching and are also ready to learn advanced theories. Practical is more important than theoretical sessions so need more work on labs. Term exams are very important as the sem exams, so make the questions tough which makes the students prepare wisely in their sem examinations.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose this course because placement facilities are great here which seems to be less in other colleges. At DU faculty-student ratio is about 1:25. The teachers here are very nice they help students by watching their weak areas and they also have very good knowledge about the subjects they teach. Term exams are semester wise which is after every 6 months and they are a bit difficult but if you study properly there are easy then.
Fee Structure And Facilities:
The entire cost to study is Rs.47300. If you are coming from a well-settled family, then you can easily afford this course in Delhi University. You can work part time outside the university while studying to cover up the additional expenses.
