Well the course is statistics that is related with data and I wanna be data analyst so that's why I chose it. It really helps to prepare for real world cause this is a practical course and you'll learn lot of practical thing would help you for sure.i don't think there's a need for improvement.

Since I was the last batch before the new education policy, the curriculum was very good in regards to the theoretical studies but could have some more practical knowledge and did not include new software which might be useful for projects in futures.

University of Delhi provides top class experienced faculty, especially department of statistics in pgdav college is renowned and experienced. Curriculum is designed by the university itself and has nothing to do with the college individually. Same goes for the examination, which is held on a university level. More weightage to courses relevant to current scenario would make more sense like spss, sql, practicals etc

My course is BSc Statistics hons., so it's a difficult course and the exams are really difficult. Therefore, Teachers warn students that they can't pass the exam without paying attention to their studies. In fact, those students who score above 90% in CBSE exams find it very challenging to score decent marks. The course curriculum is really good.

My course was bachelor in statistics honours and was a quite practical subject. All my core topics were practical based subjects and were very informative. The subject were a bit difficult but if we practice them then they were very interesting.

My course is one of the flagship courses offered by a few colleges only. It requires a lot of mathematics and logical abilities to study it. I was influenced due to increasing market popularity and my interest in mathematics. The curriculum of the course in well defined and the professors follow the curriculum and sometimes they modify it to make it more easier for students to study. Although the curriculum is good but I think some more practical aspects can be added to meet the market standards. The examinations take place according to the university time table every semester (two times a year). The exams are made according to the syllabus and normally they're not very hard if you study.

The course curriculum is a bit outdated and theoretical. we are being taught R and C languages and SPSS which is a bit outdated for now. python and machine learning should be introduced as it is the current trending and important languages. the timing of exams are in June and December, the exams are scheduled in extreme weather conditions be they really hot or really cold.

The course I study is Statistics. It offers wide range of career options from data science to teaching. Even if a student is average, the course can still get them a decent amount of earnings. The curriculum includes various methods to analyse data and check its reliability. This is very important in today's world since all of the companies work on some kind of data only. The course curriculum focuses more on rote learning and performing calculations. It do covers the practical aspect too but it is not sufficient. The practical to learning ratio should be at least 70:30 since most of the calculation part cam be done using softwares readily available in the market for free. The curriculum should be more focused on developing the analytical skills of the students. The DU conducts exams twice in a year. I feel this is sufficient. The colleges should take regular class tests in between so that the syllabus does not seem too heavy at the end of the session.
