Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is a bit outdated and theoretical. we are being taught R and C languages and SPSS which is a bit outdated for now. python and machine learning should be introduced as it is the current trending and important languages. the timing of exams are in June and December, the exams are scheduled in extreme weather conditions be they really hot or really cold.

Placement Experience :

i was eligible for campus placements from 5th sem. zommato ere the few of many companies who came to college. the average package were around 5lakhs-6lakhs. the highest package offered was 30lakhs to student from econmics department. out of those who sit for placements around 90% of them get placed. after the degree i am preparing for IIPS.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tuition fee increase policy was a bit shocking and was not needed. the total cost of my education was around 50k. the college was supportive of all types of scholarships. I myself am an inspire scholarship rewardee and the college was really helpful and considerate while doing the steps and guidelines.

Campus Life :

mecca was the main fest of Hindu college. it was the biggest fest of the whole Delhi university. It was held in march. It was organized by the student council of our college and it was the best. country's best came to perform and the duration was 3 days. the facilities and labs were the best in the country. Hindu was always number 1 in sports activities. our college football tea was the champion in most of the tournaments. the college has many clubs and societies and is very inclusive

Admission :

My admission procedure was online as it was during the covidtimes. the admision was done in three phases. it included everything from reservation to the choice of their own college and their own course they needed, as i was in the unreserved category i have no idea on the reservation benefits.

Faculty :

Even though the faculty-student ratio is a bit higher, it never felt like it. each student was given utmost importance and each had the opportunity to shine and showcase their own talents. the labs and the faculty were top-notch. They guided us through each step and were really helpful in building our skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because in the department of botany our college got 1st rank in all over India. And also botany is the core branch of any biology courses which belongs from plant biology. The frequency of exams was approximately 3 months in a semester. And level of examination was moderate which is pretty good for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very updated and deep. It is almost equal to the btech course. Many papers are the same as the btech syllabus. Better than many other university syllabus. May be a little difficult to catch up if you come from any other streams. Also, they provide a generic elective subject which is helpful for the students to acquire the basics from other streams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I was not sure about whether i should go for physics hons or computer science hons. I thought I should study both so that I can know in which subject I am interested . So this course helped me in that. Also if you are one who wants to pursue career in civil services this can be the one of the ideal courses for that, as it is not that much difficult to study as well you can prerpare for your other exams side by side.

Placement Experience:

you get eligible for placement in the third year and various companies approach you while you are in the third year provided you have a skillset. The highest package so far is of 25 lakh and the percentage of students getting placement is about 40 percent. My plans are also the same getting a placement and then seeing for further bigger opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My interest lies in Chemistry. So, I opted for it. The faculty of Dyal Singh College of Chemistry is good, some teachers are phenomenal but there are also some below-average teachers. In the last year, I had found good teachers. The curriculum is not so difficult, you just have to remain regular in classes. You can score good marks in Labs so it will be easier to pass the written exam. The exam happens in a 6-month cycle.
