Yogi Vemana University, Kadapa has almost 27 academic departments that conduct UG, PG and P.hD level degree courses under different disciplines including engineering, arts, commerce, science and more.
Under UG domain, the students with 10+2 eligibility can choose from almost 6 specializations in B. Tech, BFA, B.P.Ed. and 2 Integrated M.Sc. programs. At postgraduate level, University offers MBA, MCA, 13 specializations in M.Sc., M.P.Ed., M.Ed., M. Com, MJC, 5 specializations in MA and PG Diploma in Theatre Arts.
The college also offers over 28 specializations for Ph. D course undertaken by those with a master’s degree. Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in YVU conducted Common Entrance Test for the academic year.
Like any other engineering college, for B. Tech admissions at YVU University, a score of JEE Mains or any other entrance test score is considered,
- For B. Tech admissions, candidates must fulfil eligibility norms and appear for the National level entrance test like JEE Mains for admissions followed by counselling process
- Aspirants are required to appear for YVUCET Entrance Exam for admission to PG courses like M.Sc., M. Com., M.A., M. P. Ed., M. Ed., M.Sc.
- Integrated (Biotechnology and Bioinformatics and Earth Sciences).
- For admissions to Ph.D. courses, an eligible student need to secure minimum passing marks in the APRCET.
- Oral test will be conducted for P.G. Diploma in Theatre Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts courses offered in Yogi Vemana University College, Kadapa
- CAT/MAT/ CMAT or any other national or State Level Entrance Exam score is mandatory for admission to MBA program.
- Selection to different courses will be made based on merit in qualifying entrance exam
- Applications will be accepted only in online mode. Fees for online application is INR 600 for on time submission and INR 1100 for late submission

Eligibility: ECET. The seat is alloted as per the web options selected by the students at the time of web counselling. After the allotment the students are to be visit the college to submit their allotment order and to fill the details in the application provided at the college

- Campus was not that much good because there is no college entrance.
- There is no proper cricket group for the students to play cricket.
Admission:
The elegibility of the course was by writing an entrance exam of AP ECET. The application of entrance exam was available at government website of Andhra Pradesh. The application fees was 1100 rupees. I applied for the application in May 2022 and exam was conducted on July 24. The reservation benefits are only available for SC and SC caste students. The entrance exam was good no need any improvement.

I found the application online and applied online. the fees for application is 880.there is no reservation bases to me .the improvement that I want to see in the adminisition process is that students should get college seats based on their rank they achieved in their entrance exam not based on the caste.
