IIITH is compared with the top 5 IITs. I was getting lower branches in IITs. So I prefer the ECE branch at IIITH. ECE is a combination of both software and hardware, which is why I like this branch. In every batch, we have 300 batchmates, out of which 220 are boys and 80 are girls. All the faculty are highly qualified in their fields, and they all have a very good background. Almost every faculty is a PHD scholar. Each month we have exams like quizzes, midsem and endsem. The exams were designed so that you could apply concepts.

I have my interest in Electronics. Same teacher teaches both the sections having aproximately 340 students. The teachers are well qualified and have good teaching methods that are clear to everyone. Term exams went pretty timely and it was difficult to pass if u haven't studied or paid attention in class.

I chose this course because the placements for this course seemed to be good and also IIIT HYDERABAD has a reputation for having good coding culture. The faculty ratio is 1:100. Exams are monthly and the weightage of the mid-semester and end-semester is high.

I chose this course because I had an interest in coding as well as robotics. The faculty-to-student ratio is quite good(15:1) and the profs are quite helpful as well. Most of the prof has done their Ph.D. from top universities. There are exams every month and grading is relative Some exams are difficult and some of medium-level

Faculty to student ratio is around 1:35. Teaching faculty are highly qualified at least PhD. The faculties are good but one may not like all of them but generally all are very good at their field Exams are usually once a month and easy to pass if u study

I was allotted this course on the basis of my rank, so it was not much of an option. Plus the ECE course here is better and more interspersed with other courses, rather than other colleges. The faculty-to-student ratio is roughly 1:150. When the courses divide as the semesters progress, the ratio comes up to around 1:30 to 1:10. The faculty are mostly from reputed institutions like Stanford, IITs, Harvard, and MIT. The term exams happen in mid-semester and end-semester. They are generally tougher than the usual college-level benchmark but are usually manageable.

Excellent and updated course syllabi, with revisions to the same every 10 years. The ECE course at IIITH follows a multidisciplinary routine, where courses also prepare you for CSE-related research along with ECE courses. Thus, you get a flavour of both while following one course. For the common courses, the faculty: student ratio is around 1:150. As the courses subdivide further, the ratio ranges from 1:30 to 1:15. Teaching Assistants are assigned for every course, and around 20-30 students are placed under 1 TA. The faculty here bear excellent academic records, with graduates from all over the world like Harvard, Stanford, IITs and CMU. Most often they are working on research projects at IIITH itself. There are mid-semester and end-semester exams, with two quizzes in between. The difficulty level is higher than most other college courses but is manageable.

I chose Electronics and Communication because I was a bit into Digital systems. The average number of students in the ECE branch is about 60 to 90. The faculty-to-student ratio is quite good in this institution, 200+ faculties for around 2000 students in the institute(including all degrees). Qualification of almost every faculty is PhD from a renowned institute and the teaching method is modern and hybrid (projectors and green board). For practicals, the labs are well organized. As the institute focuses more on research, practical knowledge is the preference in IIIT-H. Exams are quite frequent, generally 2 quizzes, one mid-semester exam, and one end-semester exam, but they can be restructured by the faculty based on the course need, and projects can also be included. The difficulty of exams can not be generalized but some courses are good enough to score but some are quite difficult.

Our course curriculum is comparatively hectic compared to other colleges and IITs. Our clg is mainly focused on academics and not on extracurricular curricula but we do have so many clubs in our clg that are trying to engage people in extracurriculars Also Faculty members here are very intelligent and smart people here.
I chose this course only because of the previous stat of the placement of this branch I had no interest in ece and many of us in our batch don't have interest and those who have do excellent in the core branch but mostly people chose it by seeing placements. the faculty-student ratio is good i don't have the exact numbers but yeah new faculties are also joining which is making a good number of prof we have in our college .The profs are highly qualified and with good teaching methodology, plagiarism is very strict in our college. there are four exams taken in an entire semester .one is quiz 1,quiz2, midsem, endsem. there are various other things also which is considered for evaluations. like projects , attendance, notes.Exams are good in difficulty but moslty can be passed by studying from a week before the exam
