The candidates applying for admission in the B.Tech lateral course must have passed :
- Diploma: 3 / 4-year Diploma examination with a minimum of 60% marks without grace from the institute recognized by U.P. Board of Technical Education in any branch of Engineering or Technology except Agriculture Engineering.
- B.Sc. graduates: 3 / 4-year B.Sc. Degree with a minimum of 60% marks without grace from any recognized University.
- The candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a subject.
- 5% relaxation is awarded to the reserved category students (SC/ST).
