The main reason to choose this course is that eye is a god gifted thing and the person who are not able to see it makes me emotional that this world is so beautiful and everybody has the right to see the same . When i was small , i was suffer from hypermyopia so all thr local doctors refused to treat my eyes and my family came to pgi for my treatment and hence i feel that this course should be opted and i opted thus course for which i came for my treatment. I feel so happy that i am studying here . Thus course is so beneficial for the upcoming generation as we all have certain types of problem regarding eyes and it us almost common in this era that everyone is myopic or hypermyopic so i feel that through this course i should know about what us happening in this modern era. This is total 4 year course that is three years for study and 1 year for internship. It provides ys how to deal with patients and it includes 6 semestersun total for 3 years .

Course curriculum is excellent They focus more on practical rather than theory which attracts more students and benefits us for future job .they give good experience. The exams are held semester wise twice a year

The course is pretty good and it's easy and you'll learn a lot. This course will give you every information about eyes and basic knowledge.internship here is very bad and requires to need to be changed.

I choose this course because this course practicality of this course in field work is very excellent. This course is very practical in eye health care examination in both corporate and private sector. Although course curriculum is good but classes are very less in this course and theory level is lower.

This course gave me the stage for to serve the peoples who really requires health basic needs. The curriculum and the way of teaching is amazing because it include practical assignments as well as theoretical knowledge.....daily we get exposure with patients and learn new things practically. Practical learning is the most important.

Scope of Optometry as well as Serveness of patients PGIMER Focus more on Practical approaches like they give us pateint under the supervision of Senior/ Consultant etc Every thing is Good but academic is little easier so that we need a strong Academics 2hr of each question paper

The course curriculum with regard to relevance is good. It can teach us to treat the patients in real world with experience of dealing with lots of patients. Exams are conducted every six months marking ending of our semester.

Course is good a lot of opportunities in foreign countries and trend start to choose this course in India. Our Regular Posting with Doctors and Optometrist give us opportunity to deal patients properly.
