IELTS listening topics include a wide range of contents of general interest. IELTS listening test topics have 40 questions based on 4 recordings. Candidates are allocated 30 minutes to complete the test. IELTS listening all topics are the same for both academic and general training tests. There are 10 questions for each part of IELTS listening test. The first two parts of IELTS exam are based on general situations that happen in everyday life. The last two parts are based on an academic or training perspective. IELTS listening topics are designed to evaluate a candidate's ability to understand main ideas, opinions of purpose, and the ability to follow the development ideas. IELTS listening topics are based on four audio recordings that are taken from different scenarios. Candidates are given 1 mark for each correct answer.
